  1. After I submitted my post on 12/02/06, I found the answers in two of Peter Dowson's Other Downloads and Updates (28th November 2006.) By downloading and installing FSUIPC version 3.711 and PFC driver 1.999b, plus getting my serial-USB connection going, my posted issues all went away. I'm new to simming and how to best use the simFlight Network, but I can already tell it really pays to read all of Peter Dowson's comments. I would have just deleted my post from 12/02/06, but I thought I read where you could not do that.
  2. I am a brand new participant and this is my first posting. Hopefully, I am posting my request for help correctly. I am a new user of FS9 with a Cirrus II flight console made by Precision Flight Controls. PFC 1.9 and FSUIPC 3.47 came with my Cirrus II and are installed. My computer is a 3 years old Gateway with a Pentium® 4 CPU 3.00GHz, 2.99 GHz 1.00 GB of RAM, Windows XP Pro Version 2002, Service Pack 2, video card is an ATI Radeon X 1600 Pro running off of an AGP slot, power supply is 480 watts. Everything seemed to work reasonably well until I upgraded my ATI Radeon 9600 Ver. 110 video card to the ATI Radeon X 1600 Pro. MY PROBLEMS ARE - (1) The PFC axis calibrations are random in getting the sliders to move when I move the contols. Calibrations that are successful don't stick for very long. I have tried using both the serial and USB ports. (2) I purchased a registration and received a FSUIPC3 Key. However, when I entered the key in the FSUIPC module registration screen, it blanked out the PFC tab on the toolbar. Do I have hardware/software compatibility issues? Everything actually works perfectly, but not as well, on my laptop. I have not tried to enter the FSUIPC3 key on my laptop. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated
