  1. Actually the latest FSUIPC incremental update is 4.657. Version 4.651 was quite a few weeks ago.

But what was your problem? The install log is for 4.60a of course. And it shows it was completely successful.

What is the problem? So far you've mentioned none.

    Regards

    Pete

    The same problem as crx0203:

I launched FSX and then have an error message, explaining that FSX has detected a problem with a third progamm FSUIPC and advicing not to execute this software. By forcing to launch FSUIPC, FSX launch take ages and crash at the end.

    Henrique

  3. Hello Peter,

I have a computer network to run Project Magenta and of course I'm using WideFS on the clients. PM and WideFS are on the start up folder so they open automaticaly each time the computer powers on. Now in one of the clients I want to add to the start up folder FSX but I'm getting this error:

"Microsoft Filght Simulator is already running" but it is not. After closing the WideFS service FSX starts ok. What should I do to open FSX with WideFS running?

    Please help

    Regards

    Henrique

  4. Hello Peter,

I'm testing FSX with Project Magenta in a Vista computer and I'm getting problems with comunications. Very often the the PM ND stops (frezzes) and after some time it comes back and so on. FSX does not stop.

I post both the Wideserver and Wide client logs for you to see:

  5. Hi Pete!

I’m using FSCONV to bridge LEVELD SDK to FSUIPC. I’m getting a problem with a rotary button I want to have for DH may be because I’m a newbie

In Buttons + Switches tab, after detecting the joystick I configure this way:

    - send to FS Control

    - control sent – Offset Byte Set

    - offset – x8B56

    - parameter – x01

Configuring like this the numbers on the DH are always changing until they reach 0. What am I doing wrong?

    Could you please help?

    Regards

    Abrupto

This is the information regarding DH in the FSCONV user’s manual:

    7.1 Captains DH Commands

The maximum sample rate for this offset is 6.

    O S T

56 2 VL Set Captains DH value in feet (range -20 .. 990)

At each sample FSCONV will check the captains DH value in the panel and generate Level-D

SDK + or – DH value commands if the value in this offset is different from the value in the

    panel.

Recommendation: use the value in this offset for your hardware display as well, the

    Level-D panel will follow…
