  1. Hi

I´m interested in FSC (I use FS9 and FSX) but have a question which I can´t find an answere after trying the trial and searching the forum.

Ok I that first you have to use the database creater, choose FS path.

But most of my sceneries aren´t located in that path. I installed most of them on a second HDD in own folders sorted by countries.

How can I use them? Many airports in this folders doesn´t exist in FSC better FS like the small Russians airports try UTOD in Tajikistan or other countries out there.

Has anyone a hint for me? If this would work I buy the program.

  2. Hi Holger,

I send the files to Francois yesterday as he had written above.

Alternative you can see all the progress at http://www.bush-pilots.net. There you can download the files too, but you have to register (I know you are allready registerd  ) For all others Francois will publish.

The Sitka area is tonight finished.

    I made some little changes:

No more use of AFCAD only NDB´s (in Sitka there will be nomore NDB´s) so you have to fly with coordinates like us Bush Pilots.

Changed some ships/boats because our member Willi has made some beautifull objects (he started gmax in the age of 79!!!!) And they look much prettier.

    Twin Lakes from both sides:

    twinlakes2xp5.jpg

    Gut Island:

    gutislandas9.jpg

I also searched the places for the campgrounds hmmm little bit work to do with flatten exclude but in work.

I uses only, if possible your objects, because of the small download then, even if I need some other objects.

  3. HI,

I have some strange problmes with the SIRP Scenery from Ed. If I remember I hadn´t this problem before.

I start the FS9 at PAPG the depot right on my side on the runway with the default Cessna. Then change to the Real Air planes. And all textures from the mountains vanished.

    yafss072ca1.jpg

    Same happens in Wrangell.

Changing the plane won´t work. Only after FS9 shutdown and restart will work BUT wihtout changing to the Real Air planes.

A friend, we flow online together, use the same Real Air Scout but he has the correct textures. He thought that I should install the "zinc" file Ed remarked in his manual. But his side seems to be offline.

Anyone has an idea what might be help?

  4. Dear friends,

after long absence from FS I started placing the missing Cabins around Tongass. Know I have finished the Wrangell Vicinity cabins. For best showing you Tongass  and also Glacier Bay for some smaller objects. Without this both scenery you can´t see it.

I created AFCAD files too, so you can find the locations very easy. Some of the places will having a "runway" so you can land or start there. Some are only for finding in the GPS. (The runways and correct using will finish tomorrow).

I tried placing the cabins in there correct locations with some minor changes if not other possible.

    Here are some screenshots:

    @Holger

Where can I store the files? Should only download from here and our german Bush Pilot side.

  5. Dear Ed,

I installed your SIRP addon. But I thougt I can choose the TFG0 e.g. in FS direct?

If yes, why can´t I choose it? Have installed all like written in your manual.

And what should I do with the "ronsilentfsefull" file??

Sorry maybe I´m to dumb for it.

  6. Hi Holger,

yepp Rainer told me where to find. I send them to the webmaster in one package (olny 10 cabins to go).

All sceneries will tested in our german forum first.

I have a question. On the fed site for tonagass i read something about campgrounds in the area but as i look at their reservation side it is hard to find out the right location for it. I have at the moment no idea to get them but work on it.

In your manual i read that you build most of the roads even in the wilderness, right? Maybe i can find the location following the roads

With your lovely trailers and tents will be a nice scenery for campers.

  7. Thanks Ed for your offer. I feel pleased.

I don´t know much about FSE and sounds. So you can after realsing add some nice other features if you want.

Hmm i remember i doesn´t try your scenery yet

I read the nice manual and your site.

We test the scenery and then i send it to tongasswild for publishing.

Here are the final shots of the eagle lake cabin.

  8. So this is my first attempt for placing the missing cabins in TF. I start wiht the eagle lake cabin in the Wrangell area.

First, the location is not 100% the real place i placed the cabin approximately 50m left from the origin coordinates because the cabin would stick in the mountain. If I know how to solve the problem i would do.

Second i´m not allready found the outside toilet in the TF-library but still searching for it  so anybody can use it after dinner.

Skiffs will be placed at the beach in front of it.

I know the cabin is not perfectly placed at the moment still learning it.

Here are the very first attempts.

    eaglelake1dt7.jpg

    eaglelake2wb9.jpg

I´ll use only the objects from TF so no other libraries are needed still the wonderful great Tongass addon.

Feel pleased for suggestions and advises.

  9. After 2 day reasearching the entire websites, i found no more cabin porjects for TF as the published or announced on tongaswild.

I have made using the orignal maps from the fed a ovierview of the cabins still ready (not much work). If possible or someone wish we could use these maps so anyone can see where are cabins to place or for their project.

    princeofwalesislandon7.th.jpg

I have a suggestion, maybe thats not the right place for asking, i find it much more helpful if the scenery addon site are diveded in areas so anyone can look for the areas of interrest.

End of next week i hope that i finished an example (have to go to a conference over the week :( )

Sorry with the link, i don´t now any other solution for posting images. Thougt that was a thumbnail grrr[/img]

  10. Dear Holger and Francois,

first of all, thank you for your wonderful sceneries.

As i´m learning creating sceneries because of the virtual emigration from Germany to Alaska und build my own home there i thougt why don´t create the missing cabins in that area.

Now i see on tongasswild that there are some cabins ready and in this thread i found that many persons working for them.

    So i have some questions.

-Exists already a list with ongoing project of the cabins, so i can decide which region i can build up?

    - Are there conventions about the format or program to use for the libraries e.g. ez-scenery?

I feel pleased if you can help me.

First i would collect all the projects announced here in one list so anyone can see which regions and cabins are in progress and which not.

  11. Dear Brad,

nice work. Later on i´ll try your scenery.

For now i have a question because i want to create my own scenery in Tongass and search a program for doing so. I read out at Abacus that you can´t create airports. So have i use ready places?

I would build my "home" in Tongass at a nice fjord where nothing is.

Sorry that i post that here. I´m mostly new to all that stuff.

    Greetings from EDDL
