Hello Volker,
I have the following configuration: FSX runs on the WIN7 PC and FSC9 on the
Vista-PC both connected over the network.
I have the following issue:
When I save a flight plan, the FSC has forgotten the path to the folder "Flight
simulator X files". When I select in the "Path" menue the correct path and the
flight plan for the FSX will be saved correctly. But this works only one time the
next time I get again the message:
"FSX flight plan folder unspecified!
Choose .............."
When I open on the laptop the networkfolder X (= Flight simulator X files) I can
change files. This means that the access over the network works.
The flight plans for the PMDG737 and the Airbus X are stored correcly. Also the Database Manager works.
I didn't know how long this problem exists, but now I will import the fsx flight
plans to the OPUS weather, so it will be fine if I have not to correct the path to the fsx flight plan folder every time.
Can you please help me!
Regards
Gerhard

Hello,
my issue with the flight plan for the A320 Ext. is solved.
FSC on the Laptop couldn't write in the folder "AerosoftAirbusExtended" on the FSX PC. This folder was connected to the laptop as a network disk with the right to write. The same way as the other folders on the FSX PC. I checked and compared the rights several times. But I couldn't find an error related to the rights. At the end I deleted on the Laptop the network disk "AerosoftAirbusExtended" and make a new one.
Now I can save my flight plans for the Airbus. Thank goodness!
Although in all menus you can see the rights to write, Windows forget it for whatever reason. The only help was to connect a new network disk.

Hello Volker,
I have the following configuration: FSX runs on the WIN7 PC and FSC9 on the Vista-PC both connected over the network. Every works fine till the middle of January. Since then it is not possible for me to save a flight plan for the Aerosoft Airbus A320 Ext. I received always the following error:
"Error in writing ASAirbusXEXT plan! Intersection or Airway error! Please check flight plan!" This error I receive only when tick the Airbus type.
This happens also when I load an already for the Airbus without error message saved flight plan and I save it again. In the meantime there was no update for the Airbus.
In the flight plan I cannot find an error.
Can you please help me!

Hallo,
z.B: local=F:\FSX\aerosoft\Mega Airport Frankfurt_LC
in: local=aerosoft\Mega Airport Frankfurt_LC
war das Problem gelöst.
Vielen Dank.

Hallo Volker,

Hello Volker,
thank you for your quick answer.
But it can not be the distance alone. It depends also from the aircraft.
When I create a new FP from EDDM to LOWW (High Alt) and select the aircraft B737 the max. FL=350.
When I create a new FP from EDDM to LOWW (High Alt) and select the aircraft B747 the max. FL=290.
When I create a new FP from EDDM to OBBI(Bahrain) (High Alt) and select the aircraft B737 the max. FL=350.
When I create a new FP from EDDM to OBBI(Bahrain) (High Alt) and select the aircraft B747 the max. FL=450.

Hello everyonwe,
my question relates to the Aircraft Window. There are the two fields "Ceiling" and "Cruise FL". Till now my understanding was, that the "Cruise FL value" appears in the flightplan as a proposal for the FL and you can increase this value to the value of the field "Ceiling".
When you select the aircraft Boing B737 this is ok. But when you select the Aircraft Boing B747 you have in the Aircraft Window Ceiling = FL450 and Cruise FL = FL410. In the flight plan is the proposal for the flight level FL = 260 and the max. FL = 280 ????
This difference is not only in the case of the B747.
So I ask you what is wrong: my understanding, my database or is the fault in any tables?

Two entries per Airport (solved)
in (Former) FS Commander Support Forum

Hello Volker,
I have the following configuration: FSX runs on the WIN7 64bit PC and FSC9 on the win7 32bit-PC both connected over the network. Every works fine till now (4.11.15, 17:00).
I was creating a new flightplan from LFMN to LIMC and when I would like to save the plan I got a message:
"The Airbus flight plan accepted only Runways and no other items ............."
I find out the following:
When I search in the airport window of the FSC for "LFMN" I get two entries.
One entry is based on file D:\fsx\Scenery\World\Scenery\UTX_LFMN_EUR.BGL
the other entry is based on file D:\fsx\Scenery\0602\scenery\APX49160.bgl.
There are also more airports with two entries but not all.
A few days ago I installed Rome-FSX and run the database manager.
Can you please help me?

Gerhard
