Hi Volker,

After yers of using FSC with lots of pleasure with FSX, I am trying to install the demoversion 9 to see if I can use it in Prepar3D.

I have had In Fsx Flightsimcommander running in a network. So Fsx on computer A an d FSC on computer B. So far so good. But doing the same with Prepar3D, it doesnot work. I cannot run the Dbmanager because It doesnot see the scenery database I have mounted the drive z where prepar 3D is in trhe network and mounted network drive w for the scenery. It doesnot work. I have made a scenerycfg.fsc by hand, but..... Can you help me?

The support was good in the beginning, but now when I asked them tio help me with radio problems the support is poor and on low profile. I was thinking because there is possibility to use key-commands to do something with that, but I don't know whow toprogram keys via LUA or something like that.

Well I am have no clue what causes the weather problem I have checked everything. Setting ADF 1 radio frequency on the VRInsight for instance 1643 and on the 2d panel it is 200. It will stay that way. on the VRIinsight it says 1643 and than it will fall back to 1603. The otherway around when I do 456 on the 2d panel VRInsight will show 456.

In the log file I find those figures back. I put in 1653 and after a very short while it falls back to 1603. I did not type all the 0000 behand the figures.

When I type in the Nav1 radio 1500 on the 2d panel it says in the logfile Nav 2 radio set. On the VRInsight it is laso showing as Nav 2 radio and gives the same 1500 freqeuncy.

When I use Nav radio for ILS it sys nav1 radio in the 2d panel I put up 111.4 it will also be seen on the VRInsight.

I will do the same for Nav2 radio and Nav 1 radio from the VRInsight. When I set the radio to 109.85 the log file will show 0985 and it is not shown on the 2d panel it stays on the old frequency.

For the Nav 2 radio it is the same.

I amusing for the wearher Real World weather. I have no idea why in the log it is showing Exception 15 unable toget observation.

The logfile is keeping on scrolling so it is hard to observe waht is happening when I push the button to change adf or nav frequencies. How can I avoid that?

Hi Pete,

I have enabled the eventlog in FSUIPC. So I will close it in in this message.

First I did the ADF radio by VRInsightcombo and than maually by the mouse on the 2d panel.

The same I did for the nav radio. First VRInsight and than by mouse.

I can control the com radio's with VRInsight combo. But when I want to that with the Nav or ADF radio it doesnot work. for instance the ADF radio'd frequency is 200 I can see it onthe 2d Fokker panel as well on the VRInsight cmbo. But when I change the frequency on the combo to 328 it will not show on the Fokker panel. after a while I will get the 200 frequency back. When I change freuqencies on the plane's panel I will get the same frequency back on the VRInsght. That is my problem and I think another device such as FScockpit nav com for Airbus, or the one Saitek has made will give the same problems.

So while it is working for the com radio's, why is it noworking for the nav radio's Is there a way of working around with the keyassigner of the DAFokker, or do you know any other solution?

Hi Pete,

The com nav radio Airbus is a device that is made by FSCockpit.eu and is working as far as I know with the standard way Flightsim X is handling the radio's.

The Digital Aviuation Fokker however is using for the navigation and adf radio's a different way. The se radio's are only accessible by using the mouse and pointing at he 2d panel. Digital Aviation Fokker has a keyassigner so may be I can do something with that, but I would like to use a device that I push a button and turn a knob. I am wondering if I can make something that I can programm or someone can do it for me using FSUIPC.

I read manuals always first. I start the program up with admin rights and with xp compatability. but it freezes my computer as I mentioned in my post before.

Isnot it terrible that they sell a program that seems to be an old version?

Well I did what you wrote uninstalled FSX Booster. Downloaded the other one and installed FSPS-FSX_Booster_Setup.msi.

My computer still freezes as soon as I double click on the fsxBooster icon.

I just purchased fsxbooster. After installing and reading the readmefile I started to run FSXBooster. It freezes my computer. I restarted my computer gave it another try same story. I want to uninstall FSXBooster, but no way.

Can you help me??

I have deleted the wxstationlist.bin Now I get the message when i am startin FSX : To access new features, we recommend that yoy accept the new default key mappings. Otherwise you will not beable to access the new feautures until you assign keys to them. Would you like Flight Simulator to set the default keymappings now? Yes No I donnot now what is the best now. By the way Fs cdu is dragged over the CDUII.

I have made in VSPE one pai of virual comports com 6 and com 7.

On the CDU II LSK1 =shift +F1 and so on for the LSK buttons. There is nothing happening on the CDUII display when I for instance push the LSK1 button or the CLR button (backspace).

Hello Andy

I have set everything up as it is discribed in the Appendix 3

So Ihave set up the virtual serial ports and everything seems to work well.

I progrmmed buutons in FSUIPC for the CDU II, but it doesnot do what i expect that it shoul do.

For instance LSK1 on CDU II I programmed shift +F! but nothing happens. I have pushed the buttons exactly as you discrbed but..

May be you can help.

Can you tell me how to assign keys to FSUIPC to let the CDU II VRInsight work with the Digital Aviation Fokker?

The Fokker has a Key assigner and it has keyassignments.

How do I place Keyassignments of the fokker into FSUIPC?

Dear sir,

After upgrading from version 8.5 to version 8.6 ihave got the following 'problem'.

For intance whemn I want to fly from Amsterdam naar Prague than I get the following reasults in 8.5 comparing to 8.6.

Eham naar LKPR in Flightsim Commander 8.5 I got: EHAM SUPAM UL603 ARNEM UL620 KOMUR LKPR

In Flightsim Commander 8.6 I get: EHAM SUPAM ARNEM SONEB SUVOX HMM EXOBA NOMKA BIRKA OBADI SONDU SOPLA NOTGO SULED TALEG EKPEK BESIP OMELO KOMUR LKPR

Both Airac 1001

I like the old format because it is much easier to type it in to the FMC.

How do I get the ‘old’ format back?

Hi Volker,

Yes I can, but I could not mount the drive, because in Windows 7 I could not find the right place where to find it. It was everytime trying to start the wizard but then you only can share and not moun a drive. So last night after spending a couple of hours in looking around in Win 7 I finally did find it. Now its is working again like it was before in Vista.

Hi Sascha,

Both computers have been upgraded to windows 7 enterprise 64 bits.

In windows 7 i don't see a possibility to mount the client drive. In Vista it was no problem, but now it is.

How do I setup a windows 7 network?

Everything worked well under Vista. Now after the upgrade to Windows 7 i have a problem with setting up the network client.

On one computer is FSX running and on the otherone is FSC running.
