  1. Hi Pete, thanks for that Just an update though, and I feel foolish lol, The master battery doesn't work if your Paused :D unpause and the master battery was shutting down the screens. Opps.always the simple things Thanks
  2. Hi Pete, I have tried all Avionics, I can get the Autopilot display switched off but the PFD, MFDs etc remain on. I used to work on FS9 using the Toggle Avionics, I wonder if its a fault in FSX on the default. Does FSUIPC work with all the PMDG switches? Cheers
  3. Hi guys After getting 99% of the toggles sorted out on the home sim now :D I am stuck on one.. What switch turns off all monitors etc? I have engines off, pumps off, master battery and ignitions off, but yet the flight displays remain on. not sure what one turns them off? Aircraft is FSX Default 737 - 800 Cheers
  4. Hi Pete, Your right, I have just read the user guide and got it working :D, sometimes I think we just rely to much on the internet for a source of information. I last looked at the user guide in FS9 and can't remember ever seeing it there, but have never looked since upgrading. A full walk through was requested because the section I found tucked away in another forum was going on about leaving the Autoassign off and manually entering the details and from little snippets looked confusing. But all sorted now Thanks and sorry to waste your time :) Harry
  5. Hi guys I have searched and searched and managed to find a few bits n pieces regarding adjusting the ini to allow alpha names for joystick. But I can't find a full walk thought / guide? I have 1 x 10 Port USB with 7 Controllers 1 x Saitek Yoke 1 x Saitek x52 5 x Generic USB Controllers (Mame Boards from Ebay) The kids got into the shed the other day and pulled out the USBs and now everything is messed up, landing lights are now anti ice etc Can someone explain a little more what I need to change to allow fsuipc to see the same joystick in any port and restore its state, or have I got it wrong? Thanks
  6. hi Pete (guys) I have managed to alter my setup a little to introduce rotary switches (360's), can someone help walk me through what I need to do to get the Com 1 Whole Inc & Decrease working with it, if its possible? Cheers Also, I have another rotary switch thing with 6 clicks - how can I use this for the auto brake? Cheers guys
  7. Hi Guys I'm trying to setup my first rotary switch to change the radio freq. I can get it to turn right and it will increment but if I turn left, it also increments I have in Axis Assignment - (1) FS Command - Com Radio Inc and (2) Com Radio Dec I think I'm missing somethine
  8. Hi Guys I have successfully built a little control panel with Toggle Switches using a cheap board I found on ebay: This is the board http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2x-Zero-Delay-Arcade-USB-Encoder-PC-to-Joystick-For-2pin-Happ-Type-Push-buttons-/171137341154?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item27d89496e2#ht_6220wt_905 I have also bought a few Rotary Encoder 5 Pins (pushbuttons) and 1x 2P6T 2Pole 6Position 1 Deck 14P Rotary Switch w Knob I have all my lights wired up to the Toggle Switches, works perfectly What I would like to do now with the remaining rotarys is : 1x Rotary for Comm1 Up and Down (the switch is 360 degrees) And the 6 Position dial to control the autobrake I have these available ports left on the usb cards Up Axis, Down Axis, Left Axis & Right Axis (I have 2 of these boards, so double the axis again) and for Buttons I have 4 on each so total of 8 buttons avilable Can someone help me figure out what I need to do?
  9. yea I think i'm confused lol It would be for the ID of the Nav radio.. Is there a command to click that?
  10. Hiya I have set Key controls with my keyboard to operate the radios, Inc / Dec etc etc, but I cannot get the Radios to power ( Select) You know when you set the Freq for Nav1 you then click the Black button or you click on the NAV white button / light, I cannot seem to get this to light up to show me that it is powered on. In theory, my nav will not respond Am I missing something? I thought if I was to set a key command for this I would just use the Nav1 STDBY command in FSUIPC.. I have pretty much tried all commands available in FSUIPC for cannot find one to power them up? Kind Regards Coolcat
