Hi and thanks for response, but would it be possible to display a terrain map in different clours instead of just the flat colours in current use, just as some others do, That doesnt seem to use too many resources, and would help a lot, at least you can see where the mountains are.
Thanks again
Oh and i had a look at the screen shots looks good.

I have used FSC for years now and love it, all the new feature are nice but one thing sadly lacking in flightsimming as best i can tell, is a map that you can move yourself like in real life, and that has terrain height info for your planning im mountains, even if it only uses simple texture and mouse pointing to display altitude, not everyone has broadband and neither do we all have unlimted bandwidth, What i would love is a map that displays this info, on which you can draw your flight plan, then move as you need with the mouse with a little plane icon that you can move to where you think you are like in real life. I was reading an article in a maagzine in which they state that lots of pilts cant fly, simply because thse days the plane generally does it for you, what happens when your gps breaks and you cant navigate. Ye i too get lazy on long flights and let the Ap do its work but rarely do i let the plane auomatically fly the ILS, much more challening doing it yourself.
Cheers

Try these figures
Aircraft Piper Cheyenne
Ceiling 290
Croise 250
maxfuel KG 1112
Max range nm 1320
empty weight 2317 kg
load 1600 kg
max weight 3946
climb speed 123
rate 1000
descent speed 150
rate 1200
cruise speed 240
approach speed 160
Got these from manual, performance tables and fsx plane fuel payload manager

As peter said, you need to go into the controller section of flightsim, select the saitek, scroll down the joystick list, and untick the the joystick axis assignments, then try again.
