Have just received a new computer under warranty from Dell called Alienware.
It is running Windows 7 and I have FSC 8.3.
On my first attempt to run Flight Simulator 2004 I receive an error message on FSC reading "Unable to connect to Flight Simulator Msg # (no process response).
I do have FSUIPC installed.
What to do?

Yes Volker I have read this topic and have the latest FSUIPC and am logged on as Administrator.
Sine my initial post, I have had to do a complete restore of my entire system and the problem no longer exists.
Goodness knows what it was but all is well again.

Running FSC85 with FSX on Vista Ultimate.
I have reinstalled FSX to correct problems.
I have loaded the database in FSC again.
The error message in FSC reads "Unable to Connect to Flight Simulator Msg# (no process response)"
How do I fix this please?
Warren Cuffe.

Thanks Volker. All fixed now.

Firstly Volker the error message on FSC reads:-
Unable to connect to Flight Simulator Msg#7
Running registered version 3.50 of FSUIPC.
Running DBM 83.
Thanks,
Warren.

Running FS9 on Vista 32 with FSC version 8.3 with FSUIPC.
I use FSC two or three times a week and it has just now stopped working.
With FS9 running and FSC open (both as Administrator) FSC opens at the selected airport but when I select "Connect to FS" it promptly moves to lat 00 long 00.
Help please.

Since my previous post I have uninstalled FSC 8.3 and reinstalled.
All is now O.K.

Thank you Volker.
In the meantime I have purchased version 9 of FSC so will start over again when it is received.
For your information there is no "Advanced Options" in Folder Options in Windows Explorer In Windows 7.
Also under the "View" tab there is no "Suppress extensions known file types".
