  1. Hi again Francois

I'm really confused. After visiting UTX homepage, http://www.scenerysolutions.com/index.html I'm not sure what I should believe. They say that both UTX USA and UTX Canada has been released. When I try to find out where Alaska belong they say in their forums that Alaska have been moved to UTX USA. Looking into the coverage area for UTX USA I do not see that Alaska has been included into UTX USA. Did they all forgot our dear Alaska?

No matter what.. it's good news.. that both UTX USA and Canada have been released, only UTX Europe (and maybe Alaska?) is missing but will hopefully have a release soon. :)

One more question, does your sceneries match up with both FSGenesis mesh and UTX with no disturbing overlays?

    Thanks :)

    Edit: typo

  2. Thank you Francois.

Isn't Ultimate Terrain X out already for USA and Canada? Doesn't UTX cover Alaska as well, or did I misunderstand?

I'm thinking of buying FSGenesis mesh for the whole world, as I see Justin is going to adress the problem with airport plateaus in version 2 or is there other mesh i should consider?

I can't wait until you get Tongass Fjords and Misty Fjords ready for FSX, I really look forward to it! And of course Glacier Bay as well. I hope that you guys don't run into problems and are able to get this out to the bush people as soon as possible :)... It will be the biggest present to us all when they are released :)

What about small bush sceneries made as freeware, is there a lot of those out? And where is the best site to pick those up?... Is Avsim a good place to start, or do you have some good links for bush resources?

A tip for those who love this bird. Aerosoft is going to release their Twin Otter tomorrow i heard :) The bird is ordered already!

  3. Hi all,

After being away from FS for a year I'm at last back behind the yoke again, running FSX on a new computer build to get the most out of FSX.

I'm all loaded up and ready to go out there in the wilderness and find me some sweet spots and enjoy the scenery on the way.

But, a lot has happened during the last year, and I'm not up to date on latest addons and stuff to enhance the bush experience at the fullest.

Those of you running FSX, what kind of addons do you use (addons in term of mesh, landclass files, texture files etc) to get the best and most realistic feeling when out flying in the bush?

I will mainly be in air from Vancouver and up north to Alaska.

I have bought Active Sky X and X-Graphics for weather simulation.

When it comes to scenerys i have bought Vancouver+ and installed Victoria+.Bella Cola. Is there anything else out there worth installing and that runs perfect with FSX which will give me a better bush experience?

All kind of tips will be welcomed :)

    Thanks.
