Thanks for your input. I decided to take a less painful route first and re-installed FSUIPC, cleaning registry first manually. It seemed to have helped for now. If I encounter more problems will let you know. Rgds

Hello, Tonight I purchased WideFs but never got a chance to use it. Right after I entered the registration key, FSX got into a habbit of crashing. It crashes so "hard" that without a re-boot FSX won't start again saying it is already running. Well, it is running in the Task Manager but nothing on the screen. Loging off and back on also helps to re-start FSX. Task Manager end process option does not end fsx.exe. No blue screen, FSX just hangs. Sometimes without any warning, sometimes I noticed if I go into Modules/FSUIPC menue in FSX it will crash as soon as FSUIPC opens. FSX was stable with FSUIPC 4.2 installed until WideFS was registered. Latest version available I assume was 4.2. I downloaded the file today from http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html. FSX SP2, SDK SP2 Zone Alarm and AVG turned off Windows Firewall turned off Vista 32 Home Premium FSUIPC4 installation process had no issues, reported no errors. Would appreciate some insight and assistance. Thank you. Alex
