Thomas you were right. I had the joysticks disabled but still there were ELEV-TRIM settings were they shouldn''t be at all.

Hi,

Whenever I strart a flight the pitch trim wheel is in the maximum position + 15. Of course I can set it back manually to 0 but that should be the start position.

This happens in FSX and P3Dv4.1. And as I copied all my axes/buttons /settings from FSUIPC4/FSX to FSUIPC5/P3Dv4.1 there must be a relation with FSUIPC 4/5.

How to solve this?  FSUIPC5.ini is attached.

[FSX Booster 2013 v2.3 slow acceleration of planes]

Hi,

 

Installed FSX Booster 2013 v2.3 with the attached settings.

 

Fps fine 39,5, but my plane, DHC6 can't get enough acceleration/speed to get of the runway.

Different plane , default c172, different airport, same problem.

 

What is happening????

 

Restarted FSX without Booster 2013, same flights, everything fine again.

 

By the way earlier versions 2010/2011 never worked for me on the same hardware configuration, in fact FPs was 50%!

 

W7/64, i7 950, 6GB DDR3, Radeon 5870, ASUS P6TSE.

Hi,

 

To minimize the use of the mouse I have a small switchboard for engine management in my home build cockpit.

Most of the switches work fine with fsuipc. But I also have two switches for "left generator on/off and right generator on/off.

As far as I can see these fuctions are not in the revised list of FSX controls.

I also have been reading somewhere about additional software (Linda??) with extra functions that are not in FSUIPC.

Any suggestions to solve this little problem?

[Backlight settings are not saved]

Hi,

The backlighting problem of the VOR1/VOR2/ADF is solved!

This morning I went to the Flight Illusion office in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands, told them about your and my problem.

They explained what happened and had a solution:

A professional user complained that the backlighting for VOR1/VOR2 and ADF should be turned on by the Avionics switch.

Flight Illusion changed it in their last software update.

But there is a working around it.

Go to the config screen of the instruments.

Then select on the right side "Create update functions."

Select function 009.

Now move over to the fields with red buttons underneath.

1= 2840 and 2 should be also 2840.

Save and your done! Al lights can be turned one with one button for instance the nav. light button.

[FSPS Xtreme : 50% DEcrease in Fps]

Hi Achilles,

Thanks for the suggestion. My first impression after implementing your suggestion was: this is the solution! There was an improvement in fps about 10% , not much, but much better than a decrease with 50%.

But....

I got a lot of shimmering/blurries with no aniosotropic filtering in FSX (and set to 4 in the Ati Control panel), but as soon as I used Bilineair in FSX that problem was gone.

The second problem was that my streched front view over 3 screens with the Matrox 3H2Go did have a completely wrong zoom factor that could not be ajusted enough in FSX, the panel remained far to big even in 0.30 zoom.

So I checked Wide screen again in performance tweaks/screen options. Zoom was ok then, but the fps dropped with 50% again.

As I said in the first try there was a slight improvement in fps although with the wrong zoom. I restarted the whole proces again and the strange thing is that the (one time)fps improvement was completely gone!

After I did change to my original CFG file, and started FSX without Xtreme the problem was gone and I was back were I started.

I am wondering if the problem is connected to the use of the Matrox 3H2go.

[FSPS Xtreme : 50% DEcrease in Fps]

Hi,

Somehow FSPS Xtreme 1.9 keeps DEcreasing my FSX fps with about 50%! 30 fps in rural area's becomes 12-15. I tried several profiles but up to now no good.

My specs:

Proc":I7 950 Quad

Mem: 6 GB DDR3 1600

Mobo: ASUS PT6

GPU's: ATI HD 5870 1GB(mutiple screens with MATROX 3H2go) + ATI 5770 1GB

HD's: SSD 128GB (FSX) + Velociraptor 300 GB

OS: Win7 64

Add on scenery: ORBX PnW + CRM, Switzerland prof., NL2000

Add on software: Flight Sim Comm. 9, WideView, Wide FS (mutiple screen setup)

Does anyone have a suggestion? Try a different boosteroption/profile did not work.

[Wide Fs for Fs9+Fs10 on the same pc???]

Hi,

I can hardly imagine that I am the first with this question, but I can't find the subject.

The question/problem is: Could I use Wide Fs (Fs9 version + FSX version) on the same pc and laptop?

On my Fs pc I have Fs9 + Fs 10 + FSuipc 4.

On my laptop I have flight Sim Commander, which I want to use connected to Fs9 or FSX. So I'll have to instal the client files there. And the two server files on my

Fs pc.

So I want to buy Wide Fs for Fs9 and Wide Fs for FSX.

But I wonder if I can use 2 Wide Fs on my pc and laptop without interference from each other. And by the way on my laptop I also have Fs9 installed for multiplaying.

Any suggestion?
