registering fsuipc for fsx

I think you mis understood me. I am not complaining. I cannot get the registratio key from fsuipc for fs9 to work for fsuipc for fsx. Do I need to bur a new key? -
I have a regesterd version of fsuipc for fs2004 and the key does not work for the fsx version. Do I need to buy a new key every time flight sim is updated? Thanks
