Dear all,
I am a long time user of FSUIPC, and before I reinstalled FSX it was working well.
So after a fresh instal of FSX SP2 on a W7 64bit PC with FSUIPC 4.92.
I have assigned buttons and axes under specific profile. After a restart of FSX everything is lost!
I have assigned some buttons and axes under specific profile and some other without specific profile. After a restart of FSX, without specific profile are kept, but not the one under a specific profile
So I have tried to assign button and axes without using a specific profil. Again, after a restart of FSX, button are kept, but not the axes. When checking for their assignement in FSUIPC, it seems to be correctly assigned. But in the aircraft, there are no input.
Quite strange to me.
Hereunder is the ini file.
May someone have a look at it and give me clues to find the right way to configure my assignement and keep it, even when restarting FSX?
Thanks in advance.
Happy flying
Sylvain

Hy all,
I can't figure out why my Saitek yoke/quadrant/rudder are not recognized in FSUIPC.
I am running on FSX, under W7 64bits. The last time I played FSX, it was working well, and now, in key and axis assignment, nothing happen.
I precise FSX see my joystick working.
Thanks for help. I will stay and wait on ground!

Thanks Pete,
I read the doc few months ago and do not remeber of this part.
Will check that!
Have a good week-end.

Hi all,
sorry for my question, I searched on the forum but won't be able to find an answer.
When you are assigning some button or axis you can check a box to tell FSUIPS that it's for a specific aircraft.
Specific aircraft means a model + a texture (for example: PMDG747 British Airways).
Is there a way to assign all the keys and axis for a model of aircraft in order that all the textures have the same config?
Thanks in advance for the answers.

Hi all,
I am new to this forum.
Fsuipc is a great product. I've been through the whole manuals.
I've got one problem: I ahve followed the tuto for mapping the flaps on an axis, and it doesn't work with PMDG 744.
I tried my axis calibration with default 747 and it works great, but no way with PMDG.
HAs someone any idea?

FSUIPC not keeping my assignement
in FSUIPC Support Pete Dowson Modules
Posted
Edit: I made some more testings and it seems to be quite strange:
if I load direct a flight using default aircraft (ULM or Cessna) on EGLL with UK2000 free scenery, all the axes assignements are lost.
If I load the same aircraft but on a default scenery, axes assignements remain, and then I can change my position on any gates in UK2000 scenery, and then change to the payware aircraft I want.
I need to recheck that tonight.
Did you ever heard about this kind of problem between FSUIPC and UK2000 sceneries? Is it really linked (I am very surprised about it).
Thanks.
