  1. I have updated Windows yet it stays around 1803. Just a few minor updates.
From what I can see it is the first installion of Win 10, with the appropiate updates.
I did build this computer december 2018 and used only for Prepar3d and Citiesskylines.

Installing Framework says that 4.7.2 is allready installed, yet I do not find it in under regedit.

    C:\Users\RobB>ver
    Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.17134.799]

    First time start, works great.
    Second start, same issue.
The issue arrises when I go to options, on that little screen, that you after start, where you select plane,, airport and weather.
Or when the game has loaded and I click on a item menu.
And I start Prepar3d as admin.

  2. I did just check the windows version

    C:\Users\RobB>ver

    Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.17134.765]
Which appears to be 1803 according to: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_10_version_history

Windows says it has been fully updated when I check update.
Now that I press "Check for updates" I see that it is downloading the may 2019 version.

I will update it, and check if I find the newer 4.7 Framework and update that too. And will check the simulator this afternoon.
Thanks so far for your excellent support.

  4. Hello,

    I had FSUIPC v 5.1 running without a problem on P3Dv4.4.
Yet after I had reinstalled it, today, with anew download, and added the WideFS licence (email is different from FSUIPC, due to older buying), I cannot touch any menu item, or P3D crashes to the desktop.
I have deleted the Prepar3d.cfg and Shader folder, yet the issues gets back the second time I started the FS.

    Is there any repair?

    Thanks  ahead,

    Rob Bindels

  5. Volker,

No, on the moment you click on COL1B is the moment that the litle window disappears.
Then I have to reopen the SID and click on Accept.

But if I would click on KUMI7B it disappears also.

    Thanks,

    RobB

  6. First off all it is not my pc, but one of an acquaintance.
I had recently build him a pc with a 7700K and Windows 10.
Installed his FSX (I think it is not the pro) and downloaded the latest FSUIPC freeware (month ago.).

This chap has a paid licence of FSC and I did install 9.7.
When we plan a route and click on SID for instance and choose one, it does show, but the window of the SID closes instantly.
Taking away the SID makes the window close  again.
The same goes for STAR and Transition windows.

I have selected the option: Show SIDS/STAR/Transintion.
But every click in any of these windows results in closing down the window. And either showing the SID or not.
For the rest it works perfect.

One Thing: I start FSX as an administrator.

Is there an option that needs to be set, in order make the window stick?
I do not have that problem on my Windows 7 installation. Maybe it is a problem of Windows 10?

    Thanks ahead,

    Rob

  7. Hallo Volker,

    Danke.

Without reading that link, but more from the text behind it, I conclude that I was right, that FSC is not setting the altitudes.
That means that QW FMC must count for them. (Like I wrote, I did not see any altitudes in the flightplan).
FSC is no FMC, I know that.

The only thing I am puzzled with is, why the altitudes are different for FSC and PFPX.

    Thanks again.

    RobB

  8. I have a rather odd problem.

If I create a flightplan with FSC and export that one into Qualitywings BAE RJ, and  I load it there, then I am seeing altitudes higher then I should be.
For example, I prepare a flight from Bergen (ENBR) to Liverpool (EGLP). Including SID, STAR and Approach.
I save the plan and load it in the FMC of the RJ100. There do I add the flightlevel, lets say FL260.
Then I see that the flightplan last part, is showing an altitude of 3200 feet over at CI09.
If I look at approach maps of Navigraph and the AIP, I see that I should be at 2500 feet over CI09.

If I use PFPX or Simbrief, and create the SID/STAR/Approach in the planes FMC, I see an altitude of 2500 feet over CI09.

Do I have to conclude that FSC is adding the altitude somewhere? As I cannot find it in the flightplan it self, I wonder who decides that the altitude should be 2500 or 3200 feet?

By the way, if I use EFB, I have a simular problem as with FSC.

I made a lot of notes on testing results and findings in my one note: Link to my onenote document

    Greetings,

  9. Hello,

I have noticed a small problem when I use FSC on FSX in Vista, while I use the throttlequadrant of Goflight.

It appeared that I had trouble keeping altitude, after I changed from manual to the FSC/autompilot mode.

I happens that the power control is going to zero. This results in a stall.

The sollution is to take off by hand, and than a second before going on to autopilot, go for 90% thrust.

At first I thought it was a problem of the Goflight throttle. But i found out, that if I use the planner from FSX, I do not have that problem.

    Any ideas?
