  1. Hello Pete,

I recently installed Radar Contact 4 on my FSX. At the end of the installation it came up with a message saying that the FSUIPC (that comes with RC4) is old and not compatible with my FSX SP2. It said that I need to get the latest version from Microsoft. When I started to google FSUIPC, I came to your website.

On your website, I see that you can either download the FSX version 4.60 or ‘buy’ it from Simmarket. That is where I am getting confused. Is there a difference? Which one am I to get?

I don’t know what WideFS is? Is that part of FSX? Do I need WideFS first to run FSUIPC?

    Regards

  2. Thanks Thorsten.

So, does that mean I don't qualify for the free Upgrade? Since it says "The users of the existing FS2004 version will find a complete new build with many enhancements on their order history page and as we promised the free FSX copy."

This is what is written on Avsim's website

    http://www.avsim.com/pages/0708/Aerosoft2/Madrid.htm

"This version is for FS2004 only, but as it is written on the product web page, all FS2004 version purchasers will get the upcoming FSX release for free."

Since I have a 2004 version, how can I get a free copy of FSX?

    Cheers

  3. Hi,

I bought a copy of Madrid Barajas 2004 from the Simmarket website in September 2007. I recently read this on the Aerosoft Website

"Sim-Wings is pretty famous for it's big airports and we are very proud to be able to add their Madrid Barajas for FSX to our shop at this moment. A lot of work has been done to make the FS2004 version compatible to FSX and if you see the airport in FSX you see that it was all worthwhile. The download version is now available and the boxed version will be done shortly. The users of the existing FS2004 version will find a complete new build with many enhancements on their order history page and as we promised the free FSX copy."

I have now upgraded to FSX. Can you please tell me how I can get my free copy of Barajas FSX?

    Cheers
