I am not quite sure how to add a picture. I selected my "Flight Simulator X" folder under my "Microsoft Games" folder. I should be able to press the "Update Airports" button, correct? I am not able to press the "Update Airports" button. I have the trial version of 8.3 with the current navigation data. I am still confused why it won't let me update my airports. Any clue why this would happen?

I did what you said to do, but I am still having problems. I highlighted my FSX folder in my C:\ drive. Nothing happens. The "Update Airports" icon still isn't able to be selected. Any clue why that may be happening?

I just downloaded FSX 8.3 and 8.4. I am now trying to use the Database Manager to upload all my stuff. I have downloaded the most recent AIRAC cycle. I open DM84 and try to select my FSX path. I double click on C:\ which is my hard drive since this is where FSX is saved. I see the blue text on the bottom right pop up and say "Please select FS path in the left drive and directory box!". Well I find the "Microsoft games" file in my program files folder and select it. I highlight the FSX folder. That should be the FS path correct? I click it and nothing happens on the right side. I cannot scroll up or down in the "Scenery Library Path" side. I can't select any of the folders. It is completely frozen. What folders do I need to be selecting to get the DM to work properly. I am really new to this program and don't have the slightest clue as to what I am doing. Any help at all will be appreciated.
My system details are:
FSX
FSUIPC
FSC version 8.4 and Database Manager version 8.4
Downloaded from FSC site
Windows XP

That's what I had been doing. I should have said that. When the Database Manager first starts the left side shows my "Documents and Settings" in my C drive. The right margin says "Invalid Path!! Choose different path!!!". That's before I even select/click on anything. When I click on my C drive to view my program files the right side of the screen will say "Invalid path!! Choose different path!!! Please select FS Path in left drive and directory box".
When I open the database manager help file I follow the instructions, but I am still having problems. I don't run off of a network so I just read the file for that. Thanks for all your help.
