  1. Ok... I'm confused...

I just bought got the latest FSX Booster, and in PC info, it doesn't see how many cores I have... which is 2 (an intel i3 530). Granted not the most powerful CPU in the world... but... is there something I need to do for the program to see it??? I figure if it doesn't see the cores, it's kind of hard to optimize for them!!

So, naturally when I went into FSX, I actually saw a DECREASE in FPS than before FSX Booster.... am I missing something, or is there something I need to do that I missed???

I can use ALL the help I can!!!

  2. Hi,

    wilco,flight deck,my traffic etc to core 1

    FSX to the other cores

    Achilles

okay, set all other program2 ore(wilco, flight deck,my traffic etc) and use core 1 for fsx not other progam such as vista, game exe.

Ok... I am running Win WP Pro... with an i3 procesor and 4gb DDR3 RAM... I have NO idea hoe\w to to make a program run on a particular core!!! How is it done???

  3. Hi everyone,

if you are using the Internet Explorer v. 7 and want to download and save NaTracks and/or PACOTs, you have to make sure that the file type is set to .htm or html.

By default the Internet Explorer 7 sets the file type to "web archive single file.mht" which FS Commander currently does not recognize.

    Regards

    Sascha & Volker

    I agree...

When I try to download the tracks it gows to a page that is "No Longer Available" also.

I have 8.4 using Vista Ultimate 64-bit running FSX

So how and where do we change the file format???

  4. Thanks a bunch G-bobb!!! Yeah Vista has given me more headaches than the program is worth!!! The ONLY reason I "upgraded" to Vista was because I have a Thrustmaster Cougar HOTAS,,, and unfortunately no drivers were available for a 64-bit XP system.... JUST 64-bit Vista. Or I would not have gotten Vista at all!!!!

  5. hi

you say you are new to FSC, so just in case you are not aware

have you read page 48 of the manual?

for your aircraft to appear, you need to have your flightsim running.

then, in FSC select GPS from the drop down menu ,then select connect to FS

your aircraft will then appear in the centre of the screen.

you also get a little GPS screen

this can be turned off by selecting GPS, then GPS window.

Yes sir I DID read the manual... in fact I printed it out and read it at work!! Somehow that part didn't stick in the brain!!

BUT... that would make a LOT of sense!!! I will give it a try on Saturday!!! :D

    Thanks!!!!

  6. Hi,

sorry, but I can't verify your problem.

btw do you see your own aircraft if you are connected to the FlightSimulator whithout ti be online?

Maybe some settings are wrong in the VatSim client.

    Volker

No... I don't. Online I see everybody else... off line I see the AI A/C.... but not my own.

  7. Not sure what I am doing or not doing... but when I am on line flying on VATSIM I see everybody elses bird.... but mine is non-exsistent... and I am indeed online with a filed flight plan. I have entered my call sign I fly under in the optios window/ flight tab... but to no avail. right now I am running FSC version 8.2.

I am relatively certain I NOT doing something correctly as I just got this program a couple od days ago. But I have scourering to find an answer to this

    to no avail.

    Thanks..
