    BTW when you check the FSUIPC.DLL manually (right-click on it, select Properties - Signature, then select the signature and details) does it say it is okay? If so it cannot be #1 above, nor probably #3 either.

    same problem here. Running german XP OS SP 3 and having problems with signatures.
