  1. A last question Markus since I'm late with FS installation. Ok for FSUIPC7, but what about wideFS? I dowloaded wideFS 7 from Schiratti but II saw that its ini.file has no gpsout.

settings. So have I to use a previous wideFS  version with [GPSout] Port=COM...Speed=9600 or have I to add these items to wide FS 7

    Thanks a lot again

    Hi Giorgio,

MSFS 2020 happily connects to Jeppesen Flitemap and Flitedeck, just as FSX and P3D did. I tried yesterday, using the same setup as described here (in the message by ManuManuu from Dec 15 2011).

    >>> Forum Thread: fsuipc4-flitedeck-with-gpsout <<< from 2011

Just use the exakt same settings as in the post on the MSFS PC and on the second PC with Wideclient and Jeppesen software and it will work. I still use the same VSPE software.

    Best regards,

      Markus

Hi Markus. Thanks for your replay. Since I have not installed jet my FS 2020 I have some questions for you.  Are there gpsout all settings in FSUIPC7 ini file as in previous FSUIPC? And what about WideFS? Do you need WideFS7 or a previous WideFS where you can already find gpsout setting?  A lot of thanks again

  3. Thanks Pete.

Nothing about widefs setup. It is a long time i use it and it is very clear and excellent

My question are about two widefs pcs use of FS GoogleHeart only. Tutorial is clear for one FS and GoogleHeart pc, but nothing for a widefs use.So

1° Where to put FSGoogleHeart 1-0-1 program? On FS pc or widefs GoogleHeart pc? And so on which ip address on its setup?

2° Which GoogleHeart address location have i to put if FSGoogleHearth program is on a different FS pc?

Securely something I understood about this setup is wrong. For this reason a step by step about how to do it would be welcome.

I'm sorry to ask these questions here, but i have no Jurgen mail address.

Thanks Pete again for all you do.

    Ciao

  4. Hi Pete and Jurgen. I tested this good program with GoogleEarth on the same pc where FS9 is and all is working ok.

When I try to use Google Earth on a different pc with wide fs client i have some troubles to set it expecially for server ip. and locations. It is not clear for me which address to use either on setup either on GoogleEarth.

Is it possible to have a little tutorial?

    Thanks

  5. Hi Peter do you know this new map wonderfull software?http://earth.google.com/products.html

I tried to use its Garmin or Magellan serial GPS connection with different FS9 GPSout baud rates (as I perfectly do with FliteMap) but it does't work.

Can you look at it as I'm not a serial port expert or can you add it to other supported map software?

    Thanks,

    Giorgio

  6. Hi Pete many thanks for your quick replay. The last Teamspeak 2 has an option setting to have a command PTT via normal keypresses. When in remote wide client pc i press key board for an instance assigned K, I can talk. But I'd like to do this function (remote key board K press) directly from one of the joke buttons of my console (connected via PFC dll to to the server pc where i have MSFS and FSUIPC).

Is it possible with the "KeySend" function or I need a specific PTT program as you told me?

    Thanks

  7. Hi Peter I own a professional PFC console. I programmed in registred FSUIPC different buttons for different aircrafts (for instance PMDG 737) without any trouble. You did a great great job. Now I want fly on line (IVAO) so I'd like to program one of joke buttons to send a command (in this case key board K for push to talk functions) to a wideclient computer where I have Teamspeak 2 (voice program).

I read both FSUIPC and widefs User guide, but I think it should be easier to have your input.

So can you start from scratch explaining to me how to do it step by step?

Have I to do anything in widefs server or client ini file or is it an automatic procedure starting from FSUIPC? Thanks

  8. Hi Pete,

I'm testing a PFC professional Cirrus with Digital Avionics.

Now it is oK for me. In a previous PFC DLL version, I do not remenber which, there was left switch with right and viceversa.

Initially I thought this might be something to do with the new processing of the standby frequencies but I couldn't reproduce it on three more tests so I suspect it's something on my side. I had my PFC hardware in for repairs earlier this year, either they didn't fix it properly or my computer just swallowed the wrong way (I strongly hope the latter is true )>

I agree. The most frequent I noted was light gear change for a while two or three times during a half hour flight ( that with the previous PCF DLL version) I thought this due to my very low processor and its limited Ram (I'm wating for upgrade). Only one time I had a strange number change on Digital Avionics NAV ( for instance 110. 22 or 110.27) and only with the previous version. I restarded MS FS 9 and everything goes OK. I will keep attention now with 1.81.

    Thanks for all you do

    Regards,

    Giorgio

  9. Hi Peter,

I'm using a Precision Flight Control console and avionics for my CBT.

PFC and Flight Simulator 2002 are connected together via FSUIPC and PFC.Dll. Everything is Ok with the software I used until now, but with new 737 NG I can not use autopilot and others. I hope that with FS2004 and the new FSUIPC you will try to resolve this trouble. 737 NG is the best 737 flight model. It should be a pity to not use it with external hardware. I think many simmers are in my situation. I wrote tha same to Bob Randazzo (PMDG), but without Peter Dowson's FSUIPC nothing is possible.

    Thanks again for all,

    Ciao

  10. Hi Pete,

I wrote to you some days ago for a PFC.dll hunging trouble at beginning of MSFS. I was testing to use Windows XP and two Matrox Dual head (550 AGP and 450 PCI) with four instruments panel monitor. Now this trouble is resolved with version 1.50.

But I have an other trouble. My hardware system is PFC professional console with electric trim and Avionics. Software is FS 2002 and the last FSUPIC-PFC.dll. Everything is ok with MSFS and Magenta project, but I'm unable to use PIC 757 Autopilot.

I have the last 1.3 Pic patch and the PFC PIC box checked in main option, but no action from autopilot moving avionics knobs.

I can move heading in ND with RIC's HDG, but it desagrees autopilot HDG (that I can move it only with mouse). Before installing 1.3 patch I was able to change mode and range in ND with RIC's OBS, but not after installing.

I read all about PPFC.dll, but I was unable to resolve this little problem. I repeat, it is only a little problem because 737 default panel and Magenta work perfectly with all part of PFC hardware.I can continue to use PIC autopilot with mouse (other part of the same software as radio, nav, flaps, ect work well).

You did a great work as usual.

    Thanks,

    Giorgio
