The start valve is driven by bleed air not by the fuel valve switch

not to get into to much detail to start you turn the starter switch on the overhead to "Gnd" the light " Start valve open" on the Upper Eicas in PM GC comes on. bleed air is forced into the engine. The engine spools up

When the N2 reaches 21% you flip the Fuel lever switches to "Run" position the engine ignites

  2. With FSUIPC.DLL correctly installed, and Flight Simulator running and ready, look at the Menu. (Press ALT to bring it up if it is hidden). There should be a “Modules” item, probably the vary last word at the right-hand end of the menu. Select it. You should then see “FSUIPC …”. If you don’t, press ESC to get out of the menu, wait a few seconds, and then try again. If you still don’t see it, then either you have not installed FSUIPC.DLL correctly or there is an older version running

after you open FSUIPC click on the

"Register an application program" button, and the details can be entered into a dialogue box

Once this is done and accepted, the relevant program can be run without restarting FS—but if that program is already running it will have to be restarted

  3. Programs with appropriate credentials will run with an unregistered copy of FSUIPC provided that they are provided with an Access Key. If the key is automatically provided to FSUIPC when the programs run, then you do not need to be at all concerned. However, in some cases (hopefully very few), a manual method of entering the Key for a program is provided. This is accessed via the Register an application program button, and the details are entered into a dialogue box, as shown on the right. The details to be entered will be supplied by the program author or its suppliers, probably in the documentation or in a “read me” file. Once this is done and accepted, the relevant program can be run without restarting FS—but if that program is already running it will have to be restarted

In order for FSUIPC to recognize it Windows must first see it

what you need to do is go through the gaming options on your PC and try different default joysticks until you find one the recognizes your hole setup try "2 button yoke with throttle" than place a checkmark in the "enable rudder peddles box"

Or you can even click on "custom" and make your own driver

I am sure you can find something that will work on your pc than run MSFS and FSUIPC should than see it

  5. I have tried to use netpipes and what I have found there are ALLWAYS 1-2 sec lag on the receiving end sometimes up to 30 sec depending on how much information I have also talked to a few of the programmers from Microsoft and they are aware of this problem but it is not top priority for them to fix

FSUIPC in my experience has no such problems and Pete is always improving it and is also open to suggestions for new features
