whats makes flight sim commander different from aeosofts version?

upgraded my pc from windows vista to windows 7.Could never get flight sim

commander to work with vista,the trial version.With windows 7,I uninstalled

flight sim an anything related to flight sim per Tech Support Microsoft because

of some weird problems with flight sim(FSX that is)All is up and running well

ie:fsuipc4,VAFS4 EXCEPT FLIGHT SIM COMMANDER.Have same problem when I click on

GPS to hook up with FS that I had with windows vista.A message appears "unable

to connect to FS msg#(no process response).Im 61 years old and not that computer

savy but I do love my FS.Have had members of the flight sim club I belong to

trying to help me,but to no avail.I would like the trial version to hook up to

see if I'm going to like it,I'm sure I will.PC is less than 9 months old. Also have

flight sim accelerator installed

once again I have uninstalled fsc and reinstalled as administrator(install as administrator) and still fsc will not connect fs.Frustration with this is at an all time high

my pc is as follows with fsx-fsuipc4-database manager for fs2004 and fsx-fsc8.5-windows vista sp1 64 bit home premium.

My question is that I have downloaded flight sim commander a couple of times and still can't get it to hook up with flight sim.I realize that I have to run as administrator on both fsuipc download and flight sim commander,but I must be doing something not correctly.I'm an old guy and enjoy flight sim but sometimes the pc is over my head when it comes to downloads.Does anyone have a detailed instructions for me to follow to download flight sim commander to run as administrator? thanks in advance, Steviestevie1548
