  1. Peter. Thank you very much. Josef King.
  2. Peter. I moved those three folders to the flight simulator folder (Microsoft warn against deleting but do not mention not moving the folder/folders) the subsequent repair failed as I had damaged FSX with my tinkering so I reinstalled it and found the new folder for Sim Connect was loaded in the windows folder where it obviously wants to be. FSUIPC4 then loaded ok and I have made a succesful flight. I assume that I can now delete the three empty folders sitting in FSX. Thank you very much
  3. Due to PC crashes I reinstalled XP HE, reloaded everything but then had SimConnect problem, repaired, reinstalled FSX thrice no good. Having made other errors I Reinstalled XP HE again and loaded all on, FSX another three times with same result. having read on your forum on this I found three emty folders in windows, first marked:- (revealed by curser on folder) x86_Microsoft.Flight simulator.Sim Connect.67c7c 14424d61b5b_10.0.60905.0_x-ww_429211e9 Folder is empty. The other two have different numbers If I make a new folder in the FSX folder (programme files) with this folder id, then delete the relevent empty folders in windows, then repair FSX might this work? Or any other suggestions please. Thank you. Josef king.
