Figured this out: I just need to switch the autopilot off as I'm approaching the runway threshold, then everythings OK.

'Morning chaps.
I bought the DC9 about six weeks ago; beautiful 'plane, but despite constantly trying over and over, I just can't land it. Either I just bounce down the runway at a leisurely pace, or, more usually, when I look at an outside view, the 'plane is rolling along the runway, sitting on its tail with its nose in the air. I just can't figure out what I'm doing wrong - I don't have any problem with any other aircraft. Is there something fundamental that I may be overlooking?

Hi Chaps.
I've been through the RTFM route with my new acquisition, Flightsim Commander, (v. 8.5, build 241009p), but I cannot solve the problem. Whenever I try and connect to FSX from within FSC, I just get the error message "Unable to connect to Flight Simulator Msg# (no process response)" This happens whether I've tried to set up the auto connection, or if I attempt to connect manually via the menu GPS button. Of course, I do have FSX already running before I try to connect.
My system uses Windows 7 64 bit, and I have never had any problems with FSX. Any suggestions to help me play with my new toy?
Thanks.

Hi there.
It's not "chickoree" but "Two Green" - it's the end of the phrase "Gear down and locked, two green" that you'll hear when you put the gear down, and I get the whole phrase every time I start a flight in the DC9.
Mind you, I'd be much happier to hear "Three Green" myself.
