Hi Vaughan, I have read those pages in the manual, but do not include my problem. While connected to FS9 I can see the GPS window "everywhere" even on my empty sreen, but as soon I open FS9 it is behind. I can see it when I close down FS again. This is peculiar. FS9 is as far as I understand in default 2-D.
What to do?

Hello Volker, My fault, we cannot change position whilst still on ground. Only one (1) problem remains. I can´t get the GPS window into the aircraft when connected to FS9. It is behind the FS screen. In FSX it works just fine. How to solve this?

Hello again, I have now two icons to connect to respective FS9 and FSX. In the latter everything is working just fine. In FS9 I do have some problem. After having filled in a simple flightplan ESSA to ESSG and after connecting to FS9 the map is showing ESSA airport, but clicking on destination the map is still showing ESSA. After disconnecting FS9 it works. The GPS window will not appear in the aircraft. I wonder what causes this problem.

Vaughan,
I am sad to say that I had to change my password, so now I cannot log in to Photoshop. In the meantime I will check if I can come to understand the parameters for the database. I can´t find any files called FSCDBMxx.exe or any .exe files. I´ve only find FSCDBM_FS9 and FSX. These are notes.

Hi Vaughan, I have now agin run the Database twice. One for FS9 and one for FSX. I do not know the parameters 0 and 1. Is not in my vocabulary and cannot find it in the manual. I have however tested a flight plan in FSX ESSA to ESGG saved it and open it again. That works OK. Back to FS9, choosing a new airport ESSB. When clicking on connect to FS the air port chart disappear and GPS window shows with no values. Clicking on flight plan NEW the persisting message "Do you want to save previous recording data" appears again. I think there is a problem in the saving business. It is completely locked. I have also tried to save, aso you proposed, as a test, but it does not work either. Puuuuuh! This is a long film.

Hi, If you have read my previous posts re this problem, you have seen that I was in the very beginning played around in the flightplan to just look around. From ESSA to ESGG and from EGFP to EGKK for find out waypoints SIDS and STARS and so on, but I did not save those. After that, when I open flightplan and clicking NEW I getting this persisting message "Do you wnat to save the previous recorded data yes or no". I have tried both. There are no data to be saved. I am stuck. This is when I am connected to FS9. GPS window shows only naughts (00000) no values and does not show in aircraft. I have not planned anything in FSX only tested that it works. It does.

Hello, Here is a new issue about the above subjekt.
I have now had the FS Commander for 2 weels and cannot still use it in connection with FS9. It works perfect in FSX.
The main thing for this investment was to use it there, because of my implement of the aircraft DC9 that needs a better aid in navigating.
Since I am fed up with waitning for a soloution, I re-installed both FSC and FS9. FSC is still registated on me and the same problems remain.
So in other words I have an incomplete product and that is not satisfactory.
If there is someone interested in to come with a soloution, please se my earlier posts on this subject.

Hi Waughan,
I did as you recommended, but the problem is still there. I cannot open the NEW in flightplan because of the persistent message. Do you want to save......
I can´t even see the airport map and the GPS window has no values only zeros. (000000)

Hi again,
I have still problem with the FS Commander.
1. Everytime I try to open the new flightplan a error maessage appears "Do you want to save previous recording data".
There is nothing to save.
2. GPS window has no values at all and will not appear in aircraft for FS9.
In other words I cannot use FS Commander in FS9 (it works in FSX)
What to do, any suggestions?

Volker,
I did not fly, just played around in the flight plan. I did not save anything. Maybe that is the problem?

Hi Volker,
I am still stuck. I have been in to the black box and deleted, but no luck.

Hi again,
Since I have not got any reply, I´l have another try and adding: GPS window has no values at all.
I have very resently downloaded FSC 8.6 and the latest version of FSUIP / WideFS.
After having a trial in planning and logged out, coming back and will re-open the flight plan I am stuck.
A maessages arises "Do you want to save the previous recording data", but there is no data to save.
What has happened?
1. Both FSX and FS9. The latter in this case.
2. Latest version of FSUIP / WideFS 3.7 + 4.6
3. FSC 8.6
4. Download
5. Window XP pro.
Is there anyone who can get me a hit about this.
It works in FSX.
Thanks
Leonard

It was this I meant:
Hi everyone,
in recents months the number of posts has increased in which users report problems or ask questions without giving us any indication of the FS Commander version, the fsuipc version, operating system and FSX/FS2004 (or lower).
Therefore we would like to ask you to specify at least the following parameters if you expect support from us:
1. FSX or FS2004(FS9)
2. FSUIPC / WideFS version used
3. FS Commander and Database Manager version used
4. Aerosoft version or download version from our website
5. Operating System (Windows 7 32/64, Vista32/64, XP, 2000)
We regret that in the future we cannot answer any posts any more in which these indications are missing.
As I am a beginner in this and had no idea about this FSUIPC business I am sorry about this.
I have now however downloaded above mentioned for both FS9 and FSX.
Hope now it will work.

My operating system is Windows XP pro
