Hello everyone,
Before I begin, let me reassure everyone that I've searched for an answer to this question in this and other forums. So far, I haven't found any concrete information pertaining to my question.
Recently I became intrigued with the idea of building a multi-monitor cockpit. I'm aware FSUIPC makes such a setup possible, however, I want to know if it can use utilities such as Active Camera (or an FSX equivalent) to save specific camera views and display them on separate monitors? Let me elaborate on this... What I want to do is use a utility similar to Active Camera (or and FSX equivalent) to project a different view on each monitor. I'm interested in using utilities such as Active Camera because they can "un-dock" the standard FS camera and move it into another position. Therefore these utilities are useful when attempting to project a more realistic view onto separate monitors, such as the overhead panel, first-officer's panel, throttle quadrant, etc. If I were to use the standard FS camera, these views would be angular (from the captain's perspective) which I wish to avoid.
Alright, now for my question... Does FSUIPC support - or have the capacity - to use third-party utilities such as Active Camera to project different views within FS onto different monitors? In addition, can FSUIPC save these views so upon restarting the simulator I don't have to readjust the camera for every single monitor?
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
