I currently use Xtreme FSX PC and notice there has been no updates lately.

Should I be upgrading to FSX Booster 2013?

 

Which product will give me the best results for FPS and smooth operation in FSX?

[FSX freezes system completely!]

I think I have sorted out my freeze problem, might be related to my FSX Booster settings.

I moved my FSX.CFG and restarted FSX.

After an almost 2 hour test flight with the unaltered CFG file no problems yet.

I'll have to test more to confirm.

I will try the patch before the next flight, thanks!

P.S. I forgot to mention Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit!

FSX freezes system completely.

I don't think this is related to FSX Booster, just looking for help!

If I go on an extended flight or a few short ones FSX will freeze my system completely.

"Ctrl-Alt-Delete" will not get me out either, my only option is the reboot button.

Sometimes it happens during the flight randomly.

I paused the flight once and came back an hour later and the system was frozen.

It has happened a bunch of times switching back from the map screen, blank screen and frozen.

Last night I finished a flight, presses "Esc" to exit, the selected "End Flight" and poof, blank sceen and frozen again.

The worst part is the event view does not register an error, the only thing mentioned is the unexpected reboot.

Very tough to diagnose without any clues!!

FSX Acceleration.

Everything should be up to date.

I would like to connect my Garmin 296 to FSX.

I have seen some of the older posts w/ FS9 using the COM port and GPSout.

Can it be done with FSX and the USB cable that comes with the GPS?
