  1. Yes it does, and rather than trawl google and posts, why not try the faster ways? Just searching supplied documentation for something like "STD" finds it quickly enough -- in my document and in the PM Offsets list too. This is how I find these things. Search facilities can be very useful!

Sorry sir, entirely my fault sir, won't happen again sir... :|

It doesn't need emulating as it is a function provided by the PM MCP. To assign it to a button or keypress in FSUIPC you simply assign to PM MCP KCodes, with a parameter of 49 (for Captain's instruments) or 149 (First Officer's). This is listed in the Advanced User's guide to FSUIPC in the added controls section).

Doh! I feel like such a dope, I even have a printed copy of that very document not 6ft from my "cockpit". /me should RTFM...

  2. Hi Peter,

Is there a (relatively) easy way to emulate the BARO STD functionality, for the PM MCP software specifically, using Buttons programming in FSUIPC?

I've trawled Google and read posts made elsewhere (by yourself and others) that don't really answer that with a yes or a no. I can see there's no single PM Offset that'll do the hard work, and I'm not altogether sure if FSUIPC has sufficient logic in Buttons to allow flipping offsets on multiple button presses.

My FSD EFIS hardware doesn't have a centre push on it's BARO knob, so I'm going to press-gang an otherwise unused button into doing the job, but if it's not something that can be done in existing software, I'm wasting my time even considering it.
