  1. Hi Pete Thank you very much for your reply. I came across this post dating back a while http://forum.simflight.com/topic/68260-rotary-encoder-input-speed/ So I Placed the LUA file in the modular's folder, is that it?. I assigned my adf card but no change in encoder speed I realise its a example lua but for a real newbie how do you get them to work Regards Rhys
  2. Hi All I'm currently trying to get my head around the rotaries lua example in the modular s folder. I am using leo Bodnar board and cts288 rotary encoders to adjust adf vor hsi etc and finding it hard to get my head around LUA files . I installed the lua rotaries examples and placed in the Modular's folder. Lua show up with several entries but just how you use them has me stumped. In fsuipc under buttons +switches I can set my rotary encoder to the adf card to increase and decrease but that's about it not sure how the lua plugin works Rhys
  3. Hi Pete Thank you, placed the rotaries lua file into the modules folder but that's as far as I have got not sure what to do (Sorry real newbie ) in Fsuipc I found several entries in the drop down box under lua for rotaries not sure how to get them to work Regards Rhys
  4. Hi Pete Thank you very much, got it working, In fsuipc the mapping comes under Toggle fuel valve. I just assigned the button to press and just keep my finger on the button for as long as I need then release and the engine starts. Regarding rotary encoders, on my instrument panel I have non detent encoders for ADF,VOR and HSI. I know how to set them up but when I turn the encoder the gauge moves slowly and I have to turn the encoder quite a few turns to get it to move is there a way to to move the gauge faster when turning the encoder Cheers Rhys
  5. Hi Pete Thank you very much found the entry for fuel switch. One more question can I set up the action so I hold the button in for about 5 seconds and release and the engine will start Thanks once again Rhys
  6. Hi all I have a push button switch I want to use in my helicopter sim pit to start the engines. I want to assign a function to control the helicopter fuel valve which in the sim starts the helicopter engine but not sure what entry in FSUIPC to use to achieve this Cheers Rhys
  7. Hi Pete Thank you for your reply I have since found out that the beep switch on the default jetranger will not move below 100% or above 105 % due to the coding Cheers Rhys
  8. Hi all Building a MD500e Simulator and finally got around to purchasing fsuipc . Had a bit of play and assigned the increase and decrease gov beep switch which I will need in my simpit. Is it possible in fsuipc to increase and decrease the needle outside the green on the rotor rpm I want to be able to move the needle between 90 and 110 % if its is possible Cheer Rhys
