Well. In the sim, in the fsuipc screen it says I have to register. So yeah "picked up" :). So yeah, looked at options :).

Also maybe, there is an extra dll with p3d2 sim connect. Not sure that 2 is something wrong in the v3 folder? (could be irrelevant)

I need more information. Have you run the Installer for FSUIPC 4.947, the currently supported version?

I'm not really understanding what you mean about "can't register myself.". You register via the installer, so what are you doing instead? If you are "copying files", where from?

Okay, I get what you mean, yes, latest installer is being used. It recognises the v3 normally. But because I already copies the mode folder from v2 (have quite a big ini file) I made it "use existing one". But now it somehow didn't work.

So I deleted everything in the module, reinstalled, and added my data manually, still to no avail

I just installed v3,,and obviously, first step is fsuipc. However, I somehow can't register myself. Copying the .key file or entering my details don't work.

Any advice on what I should try?

[Weird deadzone in right throttle from saiteck, only via fsuipc]

I recently took off with the 777, and got blown to the left. After almost crashing, barely taking of, and putting on AP, I noticed that my thrust levers (in de 737) were off from eachother, while on my quadrant, they weren't.

So looking into fsuipc, i noticed, that the max value 16383 was reached on the most right lever way ebfore it should have. I'm not sure where that came from, because looking in the windows panel (I can't calibrate again for some ingenius windows/saiteck reason) it does pick up the last part of teh throttle movement.

I really have no idea what is wronf, anyone?

Passing forum admin sticking his nose in...

Two questions... First of all, that looks a lot like the aircraft is just shut down, in which case not everything is getting power, hence lots of EICAS messages. What happens if you work through the checklists and start it up?

Secondly, if you will insist on using FSX aircraft in P3D (they do usually work, to be fair! ;) ) then ensure that you install the FSX versions of Simconnect, as well as the P3D one. They're in a legacy folder within P3D - the SP1 version can be found at Prepar3D\redist\Interface\FSX-SP1\retail\lib\SimConnect.msi -you will need to install all the versions, though, to avoid problems, as different add-ons use different versions of Simconnect.

Indeed, after pressing ctrl e, everything works. Weird though, because I set in the configuration "engines running".. Could that be a conflicting thing?

Hello all

First of all, I have to admit, I installed the 170&190 into p3d, by tricking the installer, adding a fake fsx.exe in the p3d folder..but okay, I saw that by others it worked, so here I am.

2 displays aren't working. The one to the left from the pfd, and the fmc/fms. All the others work.

This doesn't make sense to me. Anyone else some advise?

What version of MakeRunways? Older versions don't understand P3D.

 

If the P3D folder a normal P3D folder, without some migration tool being used to change names and so on?

 

Didn't MakeRunways make a log file, called "runways.txt"? If  so, see what that says, as the beginning. It needs to be able to find your SCENERY.CFG file.

Well, the new p3d moved teh scenery file to programdata..not in the folder itself.

That could be the problem I guess?

I just bought raas pro, and they told me to run the make runway program.

So, I copied it to the p3d V2.5 ! folder, adn double clicked (also tried as admin) but it didn't work. it says it failed to make the csv fiels for runway/

 

Any advise on how to fix it?

Hello all

I recently re installed my fsx on my new pc, and first time I also use fsuipc for my controller.

I want to use 2 buttons my controller o be able to control fs2crew (button mode)

However, I can't find the "alternate static source" and "propellersynch" in the fs command drop down menu.

Is this correct? Or am I missing something here?

Hello all

 

This might be a stupid question, especially for my first post, but anyway;

I just bought fsuipc and I will receive my Saitek yoke Tuesday (own Christmas present ;)) and I'm trying it out with my joystick.

However, I read in the pmdg manual that I'm not supposed ot use the axis setup in fsuipc with the pmdg.

How literally do I have to understand that? Just not use it with the plane or only not using the curves etc?
