It's informing you there's a newer version. Seems to be confused with 3a and 3.

Can you please refrain from adding screenshots, especially from 3rd party apps. These are useless to me. I am only interested in seeing your FSUIPC7.log file for this issue, nothing else. Also please attach this file, not screenshots, and do this AFTER exiting FSUIPC7.
Can someone/anyone add the following to the [General] section of your FSUIPC7.ini file:
TestOptions=x800
And then show me/attach an FSYUPC7.ini file showing this issue. Can you also indicate if you are using a registered/licensed copy of FSUIPC7 or not (although if you attached your log file, this would tell me). I must admit that I did not test this version with the unregistered version before release, but I have just tested this here and all seems fine. If you get this issue with an unregistered/unlicensed version, can you please download the trial license (available from a post at the top of this sub-forum) and try with that to see if you get the same issue - and let me know the results please.
John
P.S. Also please select/load and aircraft and get ready-to-fly and wait a minute or so before exiting FSUIPC7 and attaching your log file. And also attach your FSUIPC7.ini file.
Here you go John. TestOptions=x800 added to my ini file.
Here's the ini and log.
btw - registered version FSUIPC
Thanks.

For some reason, the manual install file from Navigraph works.
The FMS manager, even when pointing to the proper subfolders, does not put nd.db3 in the folder.
Manual install is the way to go for now.

There's 5.123c, but I am suspicious. Tried a reinstall with the same issue. I then tried setting SimConnectStallTime to 2 in the FSUIPC.INI, but the log still shows the stall condition every 1000ms.
I wish I had kept a copy of 122 around. :(
Cheers!
Luke
Same here Luke. I'm contacting fellow P3D users hoping to find 5.122. I'll PM you if a copy turns up.

The update worked great. No errors, no issues, great FPS.
Thanks for the quick adjustment to x64.

Got it working running - kind of.
Don't know if it was the re-boot or the re-install of .net 4.0 - but FSX started.
Here's where it got interesting.
It completely rebuilt my FSX.CFG which took out all my key mappings and stuff. Is that normal?
Set the lowest resolution and won't let me change it back.
Got unhandled exception errors - mostly can't access fsx.cfg because it's in use by another process.
What can I do to help? Let me know.

Unhandled exception errors from .net framework all over the place. Can't quit through them either.
Says path can not be null.

Just a little more info:
I registered my copy - so I'm not using the 1x trial.
Ran the Flight1 Reg Repair Tool
Also installed some FMC data from Navigraph as it looks up the path for FS.
I don't have another utility that looks up the FSX.CFG path or I would try that.
My FSX is installed: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X
My .CFG file is : C:\Users\Bob\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX
Tried reg cleaner / reboots and others.
Nothing yet.
If anyone figures this out - please post.

After putting in my S/N, ran FSX Booster and got an error that it can't find fsx.cfg in c:\
Seems it's looking in the root folder rather than the proper path for fsx.cfg.
Once that happens, the program just goes to the system tray and doesn't do anything.
Running Win7 x64 and FSX.
