  1. Otto,

Yea I kind of figured the comment for FSC 8.6 was no longer support, as well as my older versions of FSUIPC/WideFS :). Since I deal with this type of stuff on a day to basis I completely understand, however disagree with not supporting 1 or 2 revisions back. At least in my professional world I just had it over the Account Rep and let them deal with trying to get support to address the issue. :)

You are correct in the manual and on the 1st screen of the DB manager it tells us about the scenery file and what the new name needs to be, of which I did that step.

In play around with various items I am coming to the conclusion there is something broken in the Orbx files as it relates to the runways and parking spots, I guess I will bite the bullet and do a complete refresh of software versions, just in case I need get additional support.

    Agan thanks for you responses.

BTW I did download the FSC 9.2 demo version and still have the same issues, parking spots are lost :)

  2. Good Afternoon/Morning/Evening,

I hope this finds everyone well today.

I am looking for some help/guidance with some scenery I purchased and integrating with FSC 8.6

I have ran the scenery builder utility (Database Manager - FSCDbManager86.exe) from FSC 8.6 to scan in the new and update airports for Orbx New Zealand South Island, then I loose the ability in the flight planner to select runways and parking locations.

Also when I scan the default scenery some of the parking locations does not match the scenery, which I understand why since there are changes from the Orbx scenery.

So I am not sure if I am doing something wrong or if there is something else happening

    1. FSX

    2. FSUIPC* / WideFS version used - 4.60a

    3. FS Commander and Database Manager version and build used - 8.6 build 021209

    4. Aerosoft version or download version from our website - simMarket

    5. Operating System (Windows 7 32/64, Vista32/64, XP, 2000) - Good Trust Old XP :)

Thanks in Advance you and help in getting my issue resolved

    Thanks Rick "JA065"

  3. I am trying to setup some buttons on a client laptop with WIDEFS, but not having any luck.

I setup some macros and keys on the FSUICP on my FSX server, but when I press the key on WIDEFS Client nothing happens.

I tried installing FSUICP on the client, but wants to see FSX.

So any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Rick
