  1. Bought and registered FSUIPC for FSX yesterday in order that I can use PM Sounds by Magenta. I just want some approach alt. call outs and such for my default 737-800 flights. So far I get an error within PM Sounds about FSUIPC failing to initialize before I start FSX (which makes sense, given that it shouldn't run outside of FSX) , then a data read error after the sim loads. Support said to run "pmfilecheck", which has me baffled. Can't find it. Wish I was more clued up on software because I think I've messed something up somewhere. Ideas?

  2. OK, problem solved. I uninstalled anything referring to FSX Booster, did a fresh install of vers. 1.4.7.0, allowed it to tweak according to my setup and it works just fine. The difference I see in the splash screen is (1) the correct version (2) It now recognizes the fact that I have a GPU. (which it did not before) So I think without detecting a video card it defaulted to CPU video and gave a low memory fault. I recommend doing a clean install when updating this software.

  3. My config.

    Dual core 6550 @ 3.00 mhz

2 gb OZC SLI ram at 4-4-4-12

Nvidia 460 GTX 768 DDR (latest drvs.)

    1 tb internal/1tb external hd

    Win. 7 home prem.

    21" Samsung @ 1920x1080

Just did the latest update for FSX Booster and upon loading the Caribbean Landing mission my video was badly messed up and I got a "low memory" fault from Windows. Sky and clouds were not rendering at all and the panel was black except from instruments. The screen res. kicked down to a 1024x768 and everything locked up. I did a reboot and reset to original config. within FSX Booster but the problem persists. Windows did a memory test at boot up and found no errors. My Page file is set to auto (windows handles). When I start the sim outside of Booster I still get the same video issues. It seems something has corupted a file within the FSX program itself and I can't seem to get it to repair. Ideas any one?
