  1. Registired User FSUIPC 4.

I just discovered Traffic Zapper (TZ) which will come in handy as I switched my AI Traffic program from UT2 to MyTraffic 6.   UT2 had a method of eliminating any conflicting traffic by pressing a few keys but I haven't found any way to do this with MT6.

I have TZ working correctly but have not used it in a flight, yet.

    Three questions:

When you "zap" an AI aircraft with Traffic Zapper,  is it permanently gone or is there an interval of a few minutes after which it will return to the pool of AI traffic being displayed?

What is the minimum distance from the AI aircraft you want to zap for it to be effective?

Does it zap only aircraft directly in front of you or will it also zap other AI planes in your immediate vicinity (similar to UT2)?

    Thank you,

    Bob

  2. Volker,

    Thanks very much.

I followed your instructions and I am now running Version 9.6,  and I'm now able to type in a flight plan.

I still have one problem.   My version of FSC 9.6 is showing that it is "unregistered".    I did copy the \Register.fsc file from 9.5 to 9.6, along with the .ini files and the Flightplan folder.

    9.5 was properly registered.

How can I convert FSC 9.6 to "Registered"?

    -----------------------------------------------------------------Update-------------------------------------------------------------------

Cancel above post.   I solved the registration problem   The 9.6 FSC.exe was located in the root folder of my E:\drive.    I moved it to the E:\FSC9 folder and now the program is properly registered.

    Thank you again, Volker.

  4. I'm a long time user of FSC but am now having a problem upon reinstalling FSC and FSX on a new computer.

I reinstalled FSX to my new computer on the E: drive.  Windows 10 64bit is on my C: drive.

I then reinstalled FSC (version 9.5 Build 14-March-2014 AIRAC 1604 Rev 1) on the same drive (E:), and ran the database manager which completed the update with no problem.\\\\

I booted up FSC in order to create a new flight plan.  The program loaded and the main screen appeared.   I clicked "Flight Plan" on the top menu and then "New" in the drop-down menu.   However, nothing happens.   The window where you would type in a flight plan does not appear.

All the other menu items on the main screen (Map, Zoom etc. appear to work correctly).

    Any information/help appreciated.

    Thank you,

    Bob

  5. I just purchased and installed FSPS FSX Fiber Accelerator v 1.3.2.

    I'm having one problem.

My Lower Frame Rate in FSPS is set to "17"

My Middle Frame Rate in FSPS is set to "28"

I set my target Frame Rate in FSX to "36" and clicked "OK".

But when I re-check my target frame rate in FSX Settings, it keep going back to "unlimited".

If I shut down FSPS, my FSX target frame rate will stay at "36"

How can I keep it at "36" when FSPS is running?

    Thank you for you assistance.

    Edit:

I found that although the FSPS says  "unlimited" for target frame rate at the bottom of the FSPS interface screen, once I begin the flight and then check my target frame rate in FSX WHILE IN FLIGHT,  it appears correctly as "36".

So problem appears to be resolved.

  6. I'm a new subscriber to Navigraph and I just started using the Navigraph AIRAC Database Manager to install the most recent AIRAC data into FSX add-on aircraft and FSC.

After installing the most current AIRAC (1501 Rev. 1) the Navigraph Database Manager indicates that it was successfully updated in FSC.   But when I boot up FSC, the main page shows that the currently installed AIRAC is 1312. Rev. 1 which, I think is,  the one that came with FSC when I first installed it.

I'm a registered user of FSC Version 9.5.

    Thanks for any advice.

    Bob

  7. After creating a flight plan with FSC with  the appropriate waypoints, navaids etc, I select a parking area at the airport,  and press "OK" .

I then save the flightplan and export it to FSX.   But when I go to FSX and open the flight in question, the airplane is sitting on the runway, not in the designated parking area.

Probably something I'm overlooking.  Any suggestions appreciated.

    Thank you.

  8. I have the demo version of FSC v. 9.5 and I updated the scenery database etc.

I  just ordered,  and paid for, the full version.  The payment went through and now I have registration Key.    But I cannot seem to figure out where, or how, this registration key is submitted in order to activate the full program.

Can someone advise me on this?

    Thank you.

  9. There's no difference between 4.661 and 4.667 until it is running and has actually been used for one of the few additions and changes made -- just the last few items on the changes list. I suspect it's one of the SimConnect loading glitches which should disappear after a couple of retries. It's a well-known bug in SimConnect before the SP1 FSX update, but it was never properly fixed. Check the Log file in the Modules folder: is it for 4.661 or 4.667? If still 4.661 then FSUIPC 4.667 has never actually been run and it is certainly that loading glitch.

If there is actually a 4.667 log, please show it to me.

No. there's 4.60a, the earliest supported version, and 4.638. But 4.667 will become 4.70 in a couple of weeks and then it will be the only supported version.

    Regards

    Pete

OK, thanks for the response, Pete.

    Problem fixed.

    See above post.

  10. Problem resolved.

After posting above, I reloaded FSX and got the same error message as mentioned above. However, after clicking the option to continue, FSX loaded and ran normally.

I then exited out of FSX, reloaded the sim, and this time, there was no error message.

I have no idea why I was getting the error message but everything now seems to be fine.

  11. I'm registered user of fsuipc.

I installed the 4.667 dll file into the FSX modules folder (overwriting 4.661).

Now, when I load FSX, I get an error message, "Flight Simulator Detected Problem with 3rd Party Program" and then identifies fsuipc as the program causing the error.

FSX subsequently fails to load completely.

Anyone know what's causing this errror message?

Is 4.661 still available and, if so, where is it located?

    Thanks.

    Bob
