[Creating a New virtual Flight plan adjustment]

Hi everyone i need some advice ,normal i haved used fs in the past to create my flight plans for fsx now im new at FSC9 and still learning the basics i normaly fly the level d 767 also but i can create a flight plan from FSC9 not a problem but im trying to make my life a little easy by trying to get the (End) of the waypoint or desternation lined up with the ils, i have right clicked on the map to create a new virtual waypoint, but when im flying and come to my new created virtual waypoint the fmc does not follow it ,and instead drives me round in circles round my last working waypoint,

is there anyway i can make the plane follow my virtual waypoint adjustment to the approch,

i can save the flight plan and get the fmc to read it not a problem, i do not enter all my sids and stars in manualy,i just inport my plan,

any advice would be greatfull.
