Reinstalled FSX on Windows 10 along with a registered version of FSUIPC. All was working well until I installed OpusFSX. From that point on I would get a warning that FS has detected a problem with a third-party software (FSUIPC4.dll). If I run FSX without FSUIPC it will run. If I enable FSUIPC FSX invariably crashes. Any ideas ? Hi folks, got my FSX on an SSD. Had not used it for a while, When I returned to it I got the feeling that it now takes longer to load. I was suspicious of file-read errors. The load progress bar would sit mostly at the 6% mark (about one or two minutes). If I turn the "log IPC reads" will I be able to detect any read errors ? What should I be looking for ? fwiw my installation is about 230GB and takes about 5 minutes from starting FSX to flight start (sitting in cockpit on runway or in the air.. Or am I just a tad too paranoid ? :-) Thanks

All programs start fine on their own when launched manually. Any idea why this stopped working folks ? Hi, I am trying to run Defarea in FS2002. It needs version 2.9.2.0 to run. I have a 3.x.x.x version. I get the unauthorised access message. Where can I download older versions ? Alternatively, is there a key for the freeware DefArea that I can enter ? Looked for older versions but could not find them. I have a registred versions for FS2004 but I don't think I can use that reg key. Thanks for any help.
