  1. Volker,

All above problems have been resolved with Windows Installer upgraded to ver 4.5,

FSC 9.2.1 is insalled and registered.. Now is the confusing part:.

Is it safe to assume that 9.2.1 is considered 9.2? That means I go to 9.2.i revision and ignore FSC92 update?

I have bothe the extracted files in separate temp folders on my desk top.

Now, if I have to go to FSC92Update.zip, what do I do with the contents other than the included ....Revision .zip?

    Thanks!

    Cheers

    Alex.

    P.S

What confused me with SIMMARKET is that Aerosoft had "9.0" as a BOX version and I wasn't sure if it was the same here!

  2. Also i noticed on XP that Microsoft won't let Windows installer cchange the regisitry and states that I should upgrde my OS.

All upgrades to ver.9.0 were done with no problems on Window 7. It seems that the installer does not know where to install 8.6+ in XP. Microsoft Games or just C. The Airport updater can find it anyway even though it is installed!

So I guess that is it FSC in XP unless I can get version 6+ some where free of charge!

Ran Windows 7 on this desktop for about 2 years!

    Thanks Again!

    Scand!

  3. I ran 9.0 in windows 7 with no problems until the HD Crashed. I had two HD installed with only 7 Ulitimate connected. I installed 8.6 in Programs/FC and that worked. However with 9.0, that pathw was not acceped within the airport update screen,

I tried C:// FC.9 and this is what I received:

    ***

  4. OK

I see what happened. Version 8.0 was loaded on the XP PC that was fried and was loaded in Programs! I managed to save that download. You needed a previous version for the upgrade to 8.6 going on Windows 7 Now when I went to uninstall 8.6 within the Control Panel I noticed two FSC Programs, of which only one had the.exe file. The other was from 8.0, in Programs that I deleted manually.

Now my problem is even though I have register file in the C/FSC, not Read only, the registration still can't be completed.

The name and email address is identical to that from simmarket.com, where FSC was originally purchased.

  5. I installed FSC ver 6.8 under C Program files where FS9 is installed. Otherwise FSC can't locacate FS.

What happens is that FSC is installed on C but can't find FS in C/ Program files. When installing NAVGRAPH up dates, you point to C/fsc where the .exe file is located.

The original instructions does not give you a PROGRAMS option. Only options available is in the FSC folder in C.

Therefore, I will uninstall and reinstall ver 9.0 in the Programs folder!

    Only way that it works!

  7. Scott,

I see what happened. I originally was going to FSX but after close examination of the files and and the low amout of guages available, I decided instead to go to FS2004.

However, when I reinstalled AC Loader for 2004, the prgram ended uo going to C and not to Program files. I copied and pasted the data files to the wrong Program site; which has been corrected and the other Program folder removed.

However, in the Settings, the routing to the Flight folder shows the folder to where the FS X flights go, not the same place. I created a test .pln flie and with that current setting, the flt plan was located within the correct folder for FS2009, My documents/Flight Simulator Files.

    Thanks !

  8. Scott,

On one machine is FS2202 on the other is FS9 both with 4.2.

Is it ipossible to get the the same files to show up on the FS2004.

The .txt files are there but the Aircraft i.e American B757-200 N604AA don't up on the Main Screen. The same with the rest of the like aircraft.

Also the Routes and Fares created don't show up either.

Probably have to start from scratch due to differences in 2002 and 2004.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

    Alex

  9. Thanks Scott,

4.1 was updated and now is shown as 4.2 Renamed the man Program directory to 4.2

    Thanks.

I don't see any prolems loading the full version to the new system when completed.

Thanks again! If MS would only be as cooperate. A longways to go, though!

  10. Scott,

I tried installing the up grade from 4.1 to 4.2 on this PC which has a full licensed version of 4.1, but it requires a txt file to be installed within the program.

I sent you an email with the information, however, the email addrees used when registering 4.1 is invalid. You should have the corrected email

    address.

I had to change email addresses due to the fact even though it ended in .net, viruses containg .com was allowed through the ISP and messed up everything on their end.

    Thanks!

    Alex

  11. Scott,

I mentioned earlier that if you wanted to add addtional fuel above the fuel issued you, the Total Aircraft weight remains unchanged. You could do this in the earlier versions. For example if the fuel assigned is 19,019 lbs and you want to bring it up to 31,111 lbs, one can change it within the cost report, but the Total weight remains unchange.

    This is for all aircraft.

    Thanks!

    Alex
