Hi Peter,
I'm presently starting a french translation of your documentation. WideFS user's Guide
It's accessible as Beta on a private web page. How can I pass you the link ?
I only translate a small part of it and am progressing slowly day after day. Scroll down a page or two before you'll find some real french part. (or find the string "Copiez WideServer.dll et WideServer.Ini dans le répertoire modules de FS" )
I'm writing it in HTML because I think it can be put quickly accessible. But I plan to transform it afterwards into .pdf.
Do you have particular requests , or guidelines you want me to fullfill in order to respect your Product ?
I have put in smaller green fonts what is Notices from Translator
I also noticed that IE9 and FireFox 4 do not diplay exactly the same way. I think it's possible to have IE9 displaying it better.
Thanks for your remarks
Best regards
Philippe Durand

Hello Peter
I have a release 0 of my translation, for the moment it's only a single web page
the URL is : http://philcl.durand.free.fr/documentations/WideFs/WideFS.ManuelUtilisateur.htm
If you want you can publish a link to it or you may replicate it on your site.
I'm OK for any modification you could request.
I have checked all given links against target existence and evrything seems active.
My feeling, as system and network engeneer, about the product after this translation exercise :
1 very nice and mature product
2 it should enable to take every FS add-on out of the Simulation PC, it is very well explained in your doc
3 Usage of touch screen for FS an panel admin should be a great experience
Some questions still pending :
Could it be possible to "outsource" FSInn, SquawkBox or whatever network ckient ?
Now that FSUIPC and Widefs are matured product what is coming soon with Flight for Windows Live ?
But that is another story
Thanks for any comments
Fly safe!
