  1. Volker, I apologize. I have Navigraph's AIRAC 1601 Rev 1 installed.

Yes, I understand the route calculation. This is what is so strange about this high altitude route segment. It discard VLD VOR waypoint on upper airway UW200, selects VLD NDB waypoint not on airway UW200 but on a parallel lower airway W200.

Try the "Create High Alt" route SCTE - SCEL as you have in your example here above. Once you press OK to execute the route string you will see what I mean.

  2. I cannot create a flight plan from SCTE to SCEL with route  "MON UT100 KARAK UW200 VLD UT108 TILKO". Once I press OK to execute the route string, the flight plan discard VLD VOR 114.500 (on Upper airways UT100/UW200/UT108) and selects the nearby VLD NDB 208.00Khz (on parallel lower airway W200), with the route now "MON UT100 KARAK direct  VLD NDB  direct  TILKO". (Try the route "MON UT100 VLD UT108 TILKO" and see what route you get. :???:

Creating this route with just waypoints, without using airways, the same happens. VLD VOR gets discarded and VLD NDB selected. All other flight plans work fine. I have AIRAC 1601 installed but the same happens with an older AIRAC 1508. I am not sure if this a Navigraph AIRAC file problem.

This is not a major issue, I can use the flight plan created with waypoints and the VLD NDB instead of VLD VOR. It's just strange why the nearby NDB gets added to the route instead of the selected VOR.

  3. Ian,

Yes, incorrect waypoints and turns. As an example, look at the SID OKTED1A off rwy01 FACT. The map and route shows: CTV, RIV then OKTED which is completely wrong. It should be something like: C03D1, D354H, D090V then OKTED to follow the actual OKTED1A route as per charts. There are many more, too many to list here. Again, I think it could be a Navigraph problem.

  4. I have the same problem and frustration. Many (if not most) SID's and STAR's are shown incorrect on the FSCommander map, although correctly indicated by the applicable FMC. The problem, I think, lies with Navigraph's AIRAC file for FSCommander and is not a FSCommander issue. I have mentioned this on Navigraph's forum but had no repsonse yet.

  5. How can we get a VOR and NDB (custom made) to show in FSC9? It is in the FSX Addon Scenery and shows on FSX map. I checked the scenery to confirm they function correctly, FSX map shows it with all correct data. I ran FSCDbmanager, but no VOR or NDB on the FSC9 map, only the airport and runway with correct ILS info shows ok

Is the FSC9 VOR and NDB data coded in Navigraph's database?

  6. Hallo Volker

Just for the record, I have the same issue with ver 9.1 since I updated ver 9.0 to 9.1 Error messages only on closing FSC. For me this is not a problem as everythings works fine. I just select "Close" and the error messages dissapear.

The next FSC start-up then works fine so I will stick to ver 9.1. I wish you success in solving this issue

  7. Hi Anonymous,

the next upgrade will include this possibility.

    Read also here:

    Hallo Volker,

For anyone interrested and while we await the next upgrade, I have "stumbled" on a way how to select a Transition to the STAR: Complete the flightplan with SID and STAR and save it. Then open any other saved plan, and then re-open your last saved plan with the SID and STAR. It is now possible to select a Transition. It works for me and hopefully someone else too.

Thank you for this excellent software, helping us to have more Flightsim fun.

  8. Is there a way to select both a STAR and the required Transition for an applicable flightplan? I have tried, but selecting a STAR, the Transition selection is "grayed out" and no selection possible. The same when selecting a Transition first, then the STAR selection is "grayed out". I have read the help files and the forums here, but could not find anything on the subject. Where did I missed it and what do I do wrong? Any help please. Currently I have to consult the applicable charts and select the intersections and fixes to create a flightplan with the STAR and Transition manually.
