What occured is the following in sequence. 1st a windows update not upgrade. 2nd was a FSX to SP2. At this point I ran FSX and the port check failed. No prot was active or identified. I don't seem to be able to find or reassign the port assignments. It looks as if the drivers are now missing. These updates were automatic and the windows was the standard update that it does periodically. The reason for the FSX update to SP2 was that we were having some problems with the rudder assembly. From time to time we would get left rudder only and not left and right. Next time we ran it it was fine. Thanks for your help RT

Pete, We upgraded to SP2 and no longer have a software connection between the PF Cirrus II and the FSX software. The com ports that connect are no longer connected. How do I fix this. It is an older Cirrus II. We do not have a manual for the Cirrus II as well. Any guidance would be appreciated Thanks RT

Can anyone help? Problems encountered after upgrade to FSX sp2. Basically FSx no longer sees the PFC console. the initialization screen shows no com port. The PC hardware manager shows 2 comports not functioning. Any suggestions. This PFC is an older Cirrus II.
