Hi,

please read the manual chapter 5.4 Saving and loading the flight plan and look at the lower screenshot on page 61.

Here are the settings of the folder are shown in an example.

Important to note line 2. In this line the folder of the FS4 must be entered.

I think I've got the path problem solved.

The remaining issue is that the flight plan will not open in FS 2004 (no nav log when I load the flight plan).

Once again, any hints would be great !

1. FSX or FS2004(FS9)

FS2004

2. FSUIPC* / WideFS version used

3.99

3. FS Commander and Database Manager version and build used

FSC9.1 build 21-10-2011

Database manager 9.1 Build 19-09-2011

4. Aerosoft version or download version from our website

Download version

5. Operating System (Windows 7 32/64, Vista32/64, XP, 2000)

I am able to generate flight plans with FSC, but am unable to navigate a path to my Flight Simulator 2004 folder to save them. The error message I recieve is :

" Flight plan for Add-On aircraft cannot be saved, because Flight Simulator 2004 folder unknown! Please specify Flight Simulator 2004 folder under Flight plan> Save as>Tab Paths>Folder Flight Simulator 2004!"

This happens whether I point to the root directory or to the Flight Simulator folder in My Documents.

I am able to locate the .PLN file in the FSC9 directory, but when I manually copy it to the Flight Simulator folder in My Documents, it does not work.

Any info you can provide would be helpful- I must admit, it may be my relative inexperience in these matter that's the biggest problem.

Good day,

Looking for some help on getting my FSC9 flight plan to transfer AND work in FS 2K4.

When I save the FSC9 generated flight plan in MSFS 2K4 format, the resultant flightplan doesn't work in the sim.

I've even tried going into the FSC folder and copying it over to the MSFS 2K4 folder in my docs.

What am I missing here ?

This is seems to be a ridiculously useful program, but it's of little use if I can't use the flight plans I've generated with it.

ANY info is helpful !!
