  1. Hi Pete,

All has been working great until I updated to 4.330 yes am using 4.409. My trim on the yoke will not move. It is set at 64 and I even cut the delay to 10 and no go. I notice that you have a pan up down view always (something new) I have always made both rockers up down trim settings and they worked fine pressing both at the same time.

Have tried reinstalling and one time a panel init. error on Level-D came up and made the 767 inoperable . Have since deleted all the new and went to the Pfc website and downloaded the drivers. Since then no problems. No I have no reg. Fsuipc.

    Nick

  2. Pete it creates a modules folder and places no DLL file or text documents, also my explorer is set to show all files. No other fsuipc download has given me this problem. I tried 4.02 from Scriatti and it installed the DLL file and 2 text files in the modules folder it created.

    Sorry Nick

  3. Hi Pete,

I updated to 44.02 from Sciaritti's website and since doing that my throttles on the pfc throttle quadrant ceased to work, the mixture and prop pitch levers are okay.

They have functioned perfectly up till I changed to the new fsuipc. I shut the firewall and norton off with the same result throttles no/ other levers ok.

I would like to try the previous fsuipc to see if it works and if there is something in the new update that is creating the problem. However I don't have the previous fsuipc and could you send to me so I could check this problem or a link to the previous fsuipc's.

    Thank You, Nick

  4. Hi Pete,

Would the default number 512 for the Thr/Prop/Mix EgLimit be a fixed number or can it be increased or decreased ? Not having problems but I was rereading Pfc.dll 1.92 infomation and thought I would ask.

Some figures are changeable in the ini. and I just was curious about this number as well.

Thank you as always have a great day :) :)

    Regards, Nick

  5. Hi Pete,

Thought I would check back after reading the threads and I can tell you that using 3.469 and 1.913 with a rewired currus yoke and throttle quadrant rudder pedals all from pfc also using a 2 engined jet controller that it all works great.

System is XP 3.0 and 1 gig ram. I have reset all the controls using pfc 1.913 and have no problems. To top it off I unchecked the suppress for possible interference from game ports on the first fsuipc page and the autothrottle works like advertised. No problems at all.

When you finalize I might stay with these. Thank you for a great piece of work. Have a good holiday riding trains.

    Regards, Nick :D :D

  6. :D Hi Pete,

Trying your new test fsuipc and pfc. (I use the unreg. version of fsuipc)

So far they perform great, the pfc seems smoother and the only items I noticed were if you tell it not to perform checks it still does them and when you tell it to continue it releases the parking brakes.

I have a cirrus yoke and throttle quad & rudder pedals that are serial port connected. Since my knowledge is very limited about this usb connecting am I correct that what I have can be run through this type of connector and possibly increase my performance standard ??

Excellant work as always Pete, thank you.

    Regards, Nick :D :D

  7. Pete,

Have installed and only checked digital filtering & equalize and Frank O is correct in that I believe the 'Snake Dance" is history.

The problem I had with 2 a/c is gone and I can politely say thank you for I'm sure very hard work.

Take a vacation relax and enjoy you deserve it. Oh, I too have seen the top show up partial on the pfc call up page but I pull up again and all is there.

Take care have a greay holiday.

    Regards, Nick :D :D :D :D

  8. Pete,

Rewired cirrus yoke-throttle quadrant- 4 throttle setups, I use fsuipc 3.1.4.0 and pfc. dll 1.8.3.1 also include pfc's rudder pedals.

I have installed this system carefully following your instructions with many retrys and found that this system is really great with single engine aircraft.

As for prop sync in pfc.dll 1.8.3.1 are you refering to the axis smoothing of default 500 because it matters not if I increase it to 50000 there is no change. I get the wobbles and the bad turning and this occurs when I gently reduce the prop pitch. There are no radical movements of any levers and they are reduced in unison.

I used to fly and have been in twin engined aircraft but have never seen movement like this it is constant as soon as you reduce the prop pitch it never smooths out. The problem has always been with me and the payware a/c that I enjoyed flying, I don't use because of this. The ironic thing is that this developer makes a turboprop and with the turboprop controls and setting the throttle features precisely I don't seem to have a problem. My problem is with piston twins.

Pete I'm sorry about the attack mode but it was'nt meant to be that way. I really enjoyed using the system but when I used a twin-prop today I just lost it because it rained on my parade one to many times and after a while and with my limited computor knowledge I thought I tried everything and it keeps failing so I went into the attack mode.

Sorry again Pete, I'll just keep trying and reading your forum and hopefully this will be eliminated .

    Regards,

    Nick

  9. Hi All,

Just where do we stand on this so-called thrust vectoring ? I ask because the default Baron wobbles (left-right) and 2 payware aircraft I have react this way. They are from a reputable developer.

It seems that all single engine aircraft perform flawlessly, but 2-engined aircraft seem to have a problem that is IMO wrapped around the prop levers. If all levers are forward and the only 2 levers (throttle / mixture) are moved the twin a/c flys straight and turns normal and not like a 2-wheel bicycle with square wheels and no wobbleing. If I reduce the prop rpm the wobbleing & bad turns return.

I, as the end user ask the program creator and the hardware mfg. and the developer of the payware aircraft why. My answer power supply, driver problem, we cannot duplicate the problem. I don't understand a lot of the answers but I know one thing this problem exists.

My problems all started when I invested in the throttle quadrant and apparently the I have a bad system that PFC says is ok.

Sorry about venting but I am throughly disgusted as I have invested money in a system that flys the aircraft that it wants to fly. I'll have to stay with the single engine until ???????????

    Regards,

    Nick :?: :?: :?:

  10. Hi Pete,

I assume you are talking about the "axis smooth time" in pfc 172. If you recall I emailed you privately about FSD's Seneca and the default Baron doing a snake dance all the time.

Well after installing pfc 172 and tweaking the yoke inputs the 2 aircraft fly great. Had the engine stall I think once but never happened again, then I have the throttle quadrants and move the prop & mix around.

Pfc 172 seemed to do the trick curing my problem. Thank you for a fine piece of work.

    Regards,

    Nick
