Pete,
We're all deeply appreciative for all your sleuthing, coding, and labor on this CTD issue. FS is more fun when it doesn't suddenly go "poof" on finals...
And to Rob and all the testers, thanks for your time and effort.
Best,
Mike MacKuen

Hi Holger and Francois,
Good to hear that things are under control. And, as must be everyone, I am looking forward to your fuller discussion to come soon.
Both of you are making wonderful contributions, in work, artistry, and imagination. I am encouraged to hear that you are looking forward!
Best,
Mike

Hi Holger and Francois,
Have you given any thought to the compatibility between Tongass Fjords (and Misty Fjords) and the FSX scenery engine?
What you have done, and are doing now, is such a great thing for the community that I hope that this will all work out well.
Best,
Mike MacKuen

Well, what wonderful news. A real smile to everyone's heart to have you "back".

Thanks, Michael. (We old timers should check in more often.)
BTW. Your program is still the best scenery manager around. I only wish we could let everyone else know about it!

Ah, the "sale" was produced by the voters of France and the Netherlands.
Now there's a thought. What behind-the-scenes role did Francois play in the two referenda?

Excellent work, Brian.
Thanks from everyone,

On access...
For this Seal Cove scenery, you do need LAGO's FS Enhancer. FSE is a payware program that may or may not be worthwhile. (A bunch of FSE stuff is becoming available for Misty Fjords so it does have its uses.)
Rwy12 is helpful because a couple of the Seal Cove pieces (the heliport and the Coast Guard pier) are Rwy12 items. But Rwy12 isn't really necessary--most of the scenery is FSE stuff. (Hmmm. I can put the necessary stuff in the scenery package, I think.)
A real GMAX scenery would be better--but I have not the skill to do one anytime soon.
Will upload this version to the usual sites in a day or so. Doug, do you want it too?
Best wishes,
Mike
PS. A bit of bonus scenery is the Palmerville dock, located in the heart of the Khutzeymateen Grizzly Bear Sanctuary. (This place exists, but the scenery is entirely fictional.)

Hi all,
Here is an FSE/Rwy12 version of the Seal Cove Seaplane Base. This is the busy floatplane hub at Prince Rupert. (Fictional but based on a few photos.) Designed to tide us over until someone with talent builds a real scenery.
Any interest?
Best wishes,
Mike MacKuen

Thanks, Brett.

Thanks, Bill. That would be great.

Hi Bill,
Your Beaver panel looks terrific. 8)
I wonder if you might be willing to post it somewhere? (Or if you are using some proprietary gauges, maybe a panel.cfg, bitmap, and whatever you can do...?)
Best,
Mike

Francois,
Excellent sentiment--and action. Hope everyone can contribute.

Francois,
Best of times to you and your family. A great season to spread joy and hope.
Thanks for all that you have done,

Hi Joe,
Ditto, in spades, for ActiveSky. We're all getting a lot of practice hugging coastlnes while straining to make out the lower reaches of the mountainsides though the murkey darkness. And the forcast for the coming week is rain, rain, and--to break the monotony--light rain.
Good practice for Alaska, eh?
Best,
Mike

Hi Holger,
On the last point, is there any way that you can allow some of us to help you with the "busy" work involved here? You'd have to "train" the mindless volunteers to do the hand-work--but I think some of us would be willing to put in a few hours.
Connecting MF with Glacier Bay (and the wonderful passages in between) would be a marvelous boon.

Mike

Hooray, David. Just went out and finally took the plunge with FSE. Looking forward to seeing your project.

Hi Holger,
That does look impressive. Will give the enormous download a look. (Not up to our "Holger-Standard" perhaps, but something worthwhile, perhaps.)
Thanks for the pointer.

Francois...
Norway, did someone say Norway? 8)

Hi all,
I've gone to the Eddystone float-in for two nights in a row and still haven't seen the feature film. Anyone know what's showing on the silver screens this week?
Mike

Very nice, Martin. A sweet smile for all.

Holger, snow in BC? Hmm, in North Carolina it's 75 and too hot and muggy for a sweater. Freakish December weather... need to get up the Alaska coastline to see some of the white stuff. 8)

Mike
