Receiving 'File is copied immediately' followed by FILE COULD NOT BE COPIED (error 7072) on the host computer P3Dv4 root directory using FSCP3DCFG_v4.exe

DB manager 9.7 not finding Scenery path (greyed out). Finds Sim path ok on mapped drive. The new version runs fine from the local sim host.

This is a fresh install of 9.7 on a networked computer AND host computer

1. Prepar3D (4.0.28.21686)
2. FSUIPC5
3. I use the FSC in a network! Yes
4. FS Commander 9.7 and Database Manager 9.7
5. Which provider and period of the AIRAC Cycle (Navigraph 1708)
6.  download version from our website
7. Operating System (Windows 10 64)
8. How many monitors are used (4)

Hey guys,

 

Running FSC 9.6 rev3 on windows 10 with P3Dv3 download version on a network

FSUIPC 4.947c

AIRAC cycle 1512

 

When I choose to download VATSIM data, the initial connection warning message 'continually' pops up every 60 seconds or so forcing me to either, continually click 'yes' or 'no' (neither one makes a difference) or disconnect from VATSIM via the online menu in FSC. During this time, I do recieve the online data from VATSIM.

 

Any ideas?

[Help on P3D v2 with FSC 9.4]

Yes ega, I only use a network version of FCP through WideFS and FSUIPC to track my flight. All my FSC9.4 main install and flightplans reside on the same machine as P3Dv2 I do this so that I can save the flightplans directly into P3Dv2. Don't install FSC into the programs directory. I use the root of C: or my desktop To install from the remote computer you will need to map the drive and directory onto the remote computer. Don't just share it but map it. That way the directory will show up in the files navigator. Then just install as usual

Then what if I do not wish to fly an 'airway' and only input GPS fixes? ;-)

One more question for you VolkerHeine. If I use the 'right' click method of inserting waypoints, VORs etc..... 9.4 works perfect, but if I 'manually' type the exact waypoints, VORs etc into the route, it gives me those errors. Any ideas why that is?

[P3D V2 Compatibility]

I am running P3dV2 with FSC 9.4 and FSUIPC 4.923 (newest since yesterday) without any problems whatsoever on Win 8.1

Thanks for the reply FS1TR, but it doesn't matter what VOR I use, it gives the same message. The only thing that works is to put in direct airport icao to airport icao and/or use lo alt plan or hi alt plan. It won't let me customize my route

Hey all,

 

Getting an error message when creating a route directly into FSC 9.4. It reads: Very important information about the Route String! This is not a valid Route String according to the rule: Intersection-Airway-Intersection-Airway or some waypoints or airways are missing in current Cycle! Flight plan cannot be completed.

 

I get this when creating something as simple as KRDD MOD KLAX

 

This didn't happen in 9.3. My Navdata cycle is current as well. This is happening on two recently upgraded installs.

 

Any ideas??

[No airplane in GE]

Thanks Volder, but it was 'no' icon showing at all, and it turned out to be because I had installed FSC into the program folder. Reinstalled and now I see the Bullseye. Thanks again.

Hey all,

I am running Flightsim Commander 9.1.1 build 21-10-2011, Win 7 64, FSX w/Acceleration and Google Earth 6.1.0.5001

When showing GPS in GE, GE boots up and shows FS commander under 'my places' but, there is no airplane icon tracking on the map.

Any ideas?
