You think I should try and reinstall everything again?

I allowed FSX to run from the default, and just going to "fly now". I allowed it to run for approximately 60 seconds, then i went to flight planner, it works fine now. How long do I have to let it run to capture the needed info. I never changed the flight mode, I just simply went into the FSUIPC and checked it to make sure it was working, and was active. I never changed anything, I will wait a little longer to do the flight. The problem I am having is loading ACARS, it says about the plane not being on the ground. So, I usually just close it. I will give it more time, but again, this is a new problem that I have never had with ACARS. Thank you, I will try the "ready to fly" option, without switching, I will get back to you shortly.

I have tried several times downloading fsuipc to work with fsx. When i go to connect to acars, it tells me my plane is not on the ground, any ideas. Never had this problem til i switched to windows 7.
