WideClient and P3Dv4.3 not connecting
JARS replied to JARS's topic in FSUIPC Support Pete Dowson Modules
Thanks Peter that sorted it. How do I clear that exception? I'm not familiar with Win 10 firewall so I'd be obliged if you could point me in the right direction. Many thanks for your help. Edit..............just found the exception and ticked the box.............it was P3D causing the problem! Thanks again John -
WideClient and P3Dv4.3 not connecting

Hi Pete............thanks for the prompt reply. Just for information..........desktop computer is running Windows 10 and Laptop is running Windows 7. Due to problems I was having with CTDs I have just reinstalled P3Dv4.3, the only difference is that this time I have installed to C:/Lockheed Martin rather than to C:/Program Files/LockheedMartin. Previous to this FSUIPC and WideFS worked perfectly.........but now they will not connect. I have installed the latest versions of both apps and registered them accordingly. Been using this system for many, many years and it's never failed me before! I am also running FS Global weather from the client laptop and this works fine. I have mapped drives to "User" and "Lockheed Martin" folders from my laptop and these appear to operate ok.
