Dear Support representative,
I have my FSC9 setup in a networked environment (Windows 7)
After selecting the proper paths in FSC9 to my networked PC where FSX is installed I fired up the Update Airports from FSX Function. I is now running for about 15 minutes and is on 5%.
It seems to be stuck in reading Scenery\UTEURGP\scenery\GPP5214.bgl (UT Europe Ground Polygons)
I see this messages flashing somewhat which normally indicates that the process is still running. However it's running for at least 15 minutes now with no further progress or error messages.
Is this normal and am I somewhat impatient ?
Hope you can help me.
Best Regards,
Pieter Paauw

I'm not sure what did the trick but should anybody have the same problems these are my actions/observations.
1) I bought the boxed version which was the 9.0 version. After i upgraded it to the latest version it worked
2) I use a wireless network between the FSX PC and the Laptop with FS Commander. The connection was not very good (2 bars out of 5) so I changed the postion of the antenna to have a minimum of 3 bars out of five.
3) I made a share to the FSX directory and NOT to the drive. I read in a sticky post here that you should make a share to the DRIVE and not the directory. On youtube I found directions how to map a drive in Win 7 instead of a folder/directory.
After those actions I was able to complete the database build
Regards,
Pieter
