  1. Problem SOLVED ! Running the installer file properties (right-click) at the bottom under attributes there was a line saying " "This file came from another computer and might be blocked" I clicked on the box there to unblock it and voila - everything worked perfectly as usual. Never happened to me before. Thank you very much for the time you took to assist me - very much appreciated.
  2. Hi Disabled my AV real-time file protection and tried - no joy. Nothing showing on event viewer regarding FSUIPC. I do not see anything after trying to install - the blue wheel rotates for a second or two and then nothing happens at all. Looks like it wants to do something but there is some other thing preventing it from it. If there is still a version running (cannot see any) where should I look at it ? I usually install where the installer wants me to. It says on your PDF the installer will not run if there is already FSUIPC running - I cannot see anything running but perhaps there is something running somewhere which I cannot see... Does it have anything to do with registry ?
  3. Hi - thanks for your prompt reply. When trying to run the installer -the blue wheel runs a bit (I imagine it wants to run) however nothing happens. Like always i download to my downloads folder, extract it there and run the installer. My AV (ESET) was running like always - never had an issue with it and FSUIPC On the event viewer it says something like Log Name: Application Source: Microsoft-Windows-Security-SPP Date: 6/7/2024 7:32:18 PM Event ID: 16394 Task Category: None Level: Information Keywords: Classic User: N/A Computer: PCS5219 Description: Offline downlevel migration succeeded. 4. Hi, Loading MSFS gave me a message there is new version. Downloaded it and tried to install after quitting MSFS. Installer runs a bit but then stops. Deleted all previous versions - no joy. restarted PC, the same. Checked there is no FSUIPC on my machine at all, and also nothing on task manager... Any ideas ? Cheers Isaac
  5. Hi Pete Thank you very much for your quick reply. It's such a big honor for me to actually talk to you - since I admire so much the things you have done for the sim community. I will study this and see if I can get through it. Cheers Isaac
  6. Hi I am building a 737-800, with FSX, PM and FSUIPC + WIDEFS setup. Recently I've got a PnP HW which feeds from the USB port + SW to initiate it. Problem is, this product will NOT recognise the FSX state - I.E it will work regardless wether the A/C is in "cold & dark" or powered up. Tried to hook the USB cable into to a powered hub and disconnect the power - no joy ! Since I wish to be able to have the HW work only when the Aircraft is powered up, I wonder if the FSUIPC can triger somehow the SW. What I mean is something like this: if BATT switch is "on" - then execute xyz.exe Can FSUIPC do this ? Many thanks Isaac
