  1. It means you can only fly to areas that have a cargo area added. Even with freight dogs you can still download and install new pre-made cargo areas. You just cant create any by yourself without the editor which comes with the full version of FS Cargo

    P.S. Francois, did you get a chance to consider my pm and was the idea feasible?

  2. Thanks Ian. At first I had just used the sim interface itself to remove the cargo without changing the config to remove it permanently, but that made no difference so I did the edit in the .cfg as Peter described. I reckon FScargo must look at the .cfg rather than the actual in game state of the aircraft to base its calculations on.

  3. Sorry Peter i must have missed the post where you first put that up. Anyway i have made the changes my config now reads

    [WEIGHT_AND_BALANCE]

    max_gross_weight=26900.000

    empty_weight=19021.0 // Does not include oil - see loadout below

    reference_datum_position=0.0,0.0,0.0

    empty_weight_CG_position=-4.0,0.0,0.0

    empty_weight_roll_MOI= 120000.0

    empty_weight_pitch_MOI=190000.0

    empty_weight_yaw_MOI= 89000.0

    empty_weight_coupled_MOI=0.0

    CG_forward_limit= 2.0

    CG_aft_limit= 2.0

    max_number_of_stations=9 //50

    Is it essential to change the following part to match what you have also?

    I tried without changing tthe part below and the problem persists.

    station_load.0 = "170.0, 11.0, -2.0, 0.0, Pilot" //Weight, Lat, Lon, Vert Position

    station_load.1 = "170.0, 11.0, 2.0, 0.0, Co-Pilot"

    station_load.2 = "405.0, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0, Oil" //Do not remove - essential for operation!

    station_load.3 = "1000.0, 2.0, 0.0, 0.0, Cargo Station 1"

    station_load.4 = "900.0, -6.0, 0.0, 0.0, Cargo Station 2"

    station_load.5 = "800.0, -14.0, 0.0, 0.0, Cargo Station 3"

    station_load.6 = "700.0, -22.0, 0.0, 0.0, Cargo Station 4"

    station_load.7 = "500.0, 4.0, 0.0, 0.0, Forward Baggage"

    station_load.8 = "200.0, -30.0, 0.0, 0.0, Aft Baggage"

    EDIT: I just included the second part changes and all is now well thanks for your help in this Peter.

    Doh! :oops: I didnt realise that this had also been included in the post about seaplane bases that I also posted over at maam forums

  4. Hi Guys. I set up my MAAM DC3 BEA Cargo plane on the cargo ramp 42 at Edinburgh airport as my default flight. The aircraft has 100% fuel in all tanks and no cargo. The gross wieght is 24590Lbs. When I try to get an assignment I get an error message which says "No assignment can fit the available load weight in your current aircraft. Either make room in it or change aircraft."

    Now the max gross weight for my aircraft is 26900Lbs, so why am I getting this message when I have 2310Lbs spare capacity?

    The only way I could get an offer of a cargo was to reduce my fuel in all tanks to 60% which gave me a weight of 22660. This gives me a spare capacity of 4240Lbs. If I remember rightly, the steel boxes weigh 1763Lbs so why do I have to dump so much fuel to be offered them or any other cargo for that matter?

  5. Tommely,

    If at all possible could you please make your postings for the forums in English? This will maximise your chance of a response to any problem you may have and it is also the default language of the forums. If you need to translate try http://babelfish.altavista.com/ and if that fails then you will just have to use your own language as a last resort. but only as a last resort should any other language be used. This is not to be picky and nationalistic, but simply to try and keep some uniformity in the forums. Thanks for your understanding. You may like to try avsim file library for a contrail generator which may help with your problem by the way:) just do a search for contrail in the file library.

    Cheers,

    Stewart.

  6. Hi, Once PAI traffic is installed to FS, the base installer of PAI will overwrite the default Traffic BGL. I suspect this is where your problem lies. As Mathijs suggested, try going back to a previous BGL but I think it would be best to go back to before you installed PAI. Perhaps even try and install the products in reverse order IE PAI then PHNL.

    Cheers,

    Stewart.

  7. Obviously Lago cant police all of the various flight sim sites and forums that abound on the web, but I bet that the good people who frequent this forum cover quiter a few various sites and forums between us. It would be in all our interests if Lago were to set up a dedicated email address where we could report any infringements of Lago's copyright.

    A few days ago I found an add offering swaps for Lago products and informed Mathijs by private message but obviously Mathijs and the other staff members must get lots of messages on all manner of things. A dedicated email address would enable all of these reports to go to a central area and make it easier for Lago to follow up on them.

    Remember it is in ALL our interests to report piracy wherever we see it because ultimately it is us who end up paying the price. So if you see products being advertised illegally, dont just ignore it or even try and argue with the advertiser. Just inform Lago and lets help them to keep their prices as low as they can for us.

    Cheers,

    Stewart.

  8. It is my pleasure to announce the new Emma Field Flying Club forum. The EFFC is working on getting organized, a website for it is being designed as we speak. But for now you can discuss anything to do with the EFFC on its own forum (you need to register). Happy Flying !!

    Francois

    Somehow I think it would be more busy if we knew where to find the forum :wink:

    Mathijs

    LOL its on the other SimFlight Forums section mathijs Near the bottom of the page.

    Cheers,

    Stewart.
