i looked at it pete but never really understood it ,will take a look again.i like using fsuipc to prgram my modules because i dont need to start no other programs but i also like to see my indicators lights working when switches or on and off.

hi pete, please give me a run through of how to share folder on vista?i mean the complete step by step procedure.i think im missing something when it comes to giving permission and security to theses folders.when i choose fsx folder to share on the network.who sshould i give permission adn security to for the client pc.would the client pr ,be determined as anonymous/users/network/adminstrtator.

HI PETE, thanks for answering,i think wideclient and wideserver are working fine because i see it connected on the fsx pc .i am also sure my network is working fine because i already shared the files and could access them on the client pc but i think it has to with running as administrator with vista.i got it to work once and then it went back to its old way again.ITS VERY FRUSTRATING,

hi pete, thanks for replying.i got it working now.i just changed the server name to using the server ip addr instead.now its connecting.i have one other problem when trying to get the addon program named fs commander 8.3 to connect to fsx.i am running fscommander on my client computer but when i try to connect to fsx it gives me a error saying unable to connect to flight simulator,the programmers for fscommander said that the problem would come from fsuipc.i updated to the new version of fsuipc4 4.30 and still getting this problem.dont know if you have a solution because the fsuipc.dll and widefs is used to connect the fscommander and fsx on the network.
