High, I use registered Fsuipc, Logitech G940. I assigned 1) set heading, 2) obs, 3) rate of ascend and descend and 4) altitude to axis on the throttle quadrant and it works fine with every standard aircraft in FSX. Not with the Eaglesoft Citation X: Setting OBS only works, the rest does not! Any suggestions? Thank you very much! Best regards from Vienna! OE-MM1

Pete, I could solve the problem! I could unerase the write protected folders! Now I have a proper WideFS - FSUIPC connection - or perhaps what I think, which is a proper one - and FSCommander can connect again. You wrote, you would not connect ASA via WIDEFS. Please tell me exactly why, because this was the main reason to purchase WideFS! I´ll send you the loags later on! By the way, is there a application list, of WideFS - FSUIPC trusted software? Well, before registering I could establish a connection, so that on the frames of FSX and WideFS 1 connection was written. FSCommander could connect to FSX (I saw the aircraft on the map) and my next goal was to setup ASA from HIFI correctly. This never worked with WideFS. You are right, I deleted the three entries in winsxs, hoping, that a reinstall of SP (FSX) and SP (SDK) would result in a clean and properly working FSX ready to be connected to ASA. I read, that deleting these entries - even if MS does not suggest to delete them - and a repair from the FSX DVD could solve the problem. Thats the reason why I deleted them. And in Vista 64 there is no way to delete protected files or folders with right mouse-click and open as adminTherefore I was looking for a solution, and thought that I have found it ... I tried FSUIPC4 Version 4.435 but there was no change. Any ideas except reinstalling Vista? Thank you! OE-MM1

Pete, it´s boaring! After I received my registration for Fsuipc and Widefs for Michael Mair, MSc MAS, and I entered both keys completely new I do not get the menu Add- ons anymore. I read almost everything in the net about this, but could not find a solution. Any ideas, or any hints? And before you ask me: Yes my firewall is setup correctly and windows firewall is disabled! High Peter, My name is Michael Mair. Under this name I purchased and registered FSUIPC. Meanwhiles I have reached two academic titles, and when I purchesed WIDEFS I did not take care, that my name was including the titles. I registered WIDEFS under Michael Mair, MSc MAS. When I do register both registration program does not report any error. But when I go to FSUIPC in FSX I get the info, that I should use the installer to register FSUIPC. And I cannot configure FSUIPC. With FSCommander 8.4 I get connection, but it is impossible fpr me to connect ActiveSky Advanced from HIFI SIM. I always get the error, that sdk service packs are not installed. So my questions: 1) What is the problem, that I can not configure FSUIPC? My two names? Or anything else? 2) Perhaps you can give me detailed instructions how to connect ActiveSky Advanced to my FSX. They should be that detailed, that every idiot can understand them, because sitting now two days in front of the PC, I became an idiot. 3) Any other support (Links, pdfs, ...) for better understanding of simconnect, if it is needed for my problem! High, I´m not a pro. I just use FS2004, Real weather, FSUIPC registered. Although I clicked on the syncronisation of time it does not work. And when winds change direction or speed, although I activated smoothing 2 seconds for 1 knot it does not work properly. Thank you for your help. Best regards M.M
